Picture To Burn
(Joe FF)
(Joe’s POV)
“Come on Joe! We’re supposed to leave now!” My mother yelled from down the stairs.
“Coming Mother!” I replied as I grabbed my bags and headed towards the car.
My name is Joe,I’m 16 years old. I lived in New Jersey,but not anymore. My family and I are moving to Texas in the country side.
I sat in the car as we drove off. My dad Kevin Sr. was driving. My mom Denise was sitting next to him. Me,Kevin Jr.,Nick, and Frankie were sitting in the back. I kept on looking out the window. I felt sad,New Jersey was my home for years,and now,we’re moving because my dad got a Job in Texas.
(Sarah’s POV)
“Gabby! Alyssa!” I yelled as I saw my best friends go out of the train they were on.
My name is Sarah,I’m a country singer at the Country Club here in Texas. Gabriella,my best friend,and Alyssa,who’s also My best friend,always come to my shows to watch me sing.
“Sarah!” They both yelled and gave me a tight hug. “OMG we missed you! Next time we go to Florida,you have to come!”
“I wish I could,but the Country club needed me!” I said in my southern accent. We went back to the country side,and we stayed in my house.
We saw a few people moving in next to our house. Wonder who they are.

Chapter 2
(Joe’s POV)
The place seemed nice,the people were nice too. I looked around,and a girl with wavy dark brown hair stood there talking to her friends. Wow she was pretty,
“Joe stop day dreaming and come help us unpack,we have to go out to the country club for dinner tonight!” My mom yelled from inside the house. I sighed and helped them with the bags.
(Gabby’s POV)
I looked over at the new neighbors house,and saw a brown curly haired boy come outside the house. He looked over at me and smiled. I blushed.
“So you’re performing tonight again?” Alyssa asked.
“Yup!” Sarah said excitedly.
“Which song?” I asked looking away from the boy.
“Our Song!” She said as we entered the house.
I waved at the boy and followed Sarah and Alyssa upstairs into Sarah’s room.
(Sarah’s POV)
I got ready for the show,and went to the Country club. Ashlynn,the owner of the Country Club was greeting people as they came in. I was backstage getting ready. When everyone came in,and were seated,I went out on stage.
“Hi! Welcome to the Country Club! I’m Sarah! Hope you have a nice time here ya’ll!” I smiled as they clapped.
I was ridin shotgun
with my hair undone
in the front seat of his car
Hes got a one hand feel
on the steering wheel
the other on my heart
I look around turn the radio down
he says baby is something wrong
I say nothin
I was just thinkin
how we dont have a song
and he said,
Our song is the slammin screen door
sneakin out late tappin on your window
when we're on the phone
and you talk real slow
cause its late and your momma don't know
Our song is the way you laugh,
the first date man I didnt kiss her and I should have
and when I got home
'for I said amen
askin God if He could play it again
I looked at the audience,and there he sat,the boy I saw earlier today. He was smiling brightly at me
I was walkin up the front porch steps
after everythin that day
had gone all wrong
had been trampled on
and lost and thrown away
got to the hallway
I was on my way
to my lovin bed
I almost didnt notice all the roses and the note that said,

I was riding shotgun
with my hair undone
in the front seat of his car
I grabbed a pen and an old napkin
and I wrote down our song.
All of them cheered and I thanked them. I went backstage again,and wore my normal clothes. Then I ran out again to the front door to say goodbye to the people.
“Bye thank you for coming!”I smiled at the lady who smiled back at me.
“Bye!” The same boy from the neighborhood said.
“Bye! Thanks for coming!” I smiled.
“I’m Joe!” He said shyly. “And this is Nick,Kevin,and Frankie!”
“Nice to meet you guys! Aw you’re so cute!” I told Frankie.
“Thanks!” Joe said happily.
“Haha I meant Frankie!” I laughed. He looked down sadly and said,”Oh”
“Hey don’t be sad! Ya’ll are handsome boys!” I smiled cheering them up.
“Thanks!” They said happily. Just then Gabby & Alyssa came running towards me.
“Hey I’m Gabby!” Gabby said as she shook their hands. “I’m Nick,and this is Kevin!” The curly headed boy said.
“Boys come on,let’s go!” Their mother said.
“Coming Mom!” Joe yelled back politely, Nick,Joe,and Frankie walked outside. Kevin and Alyssa were still talking. “Kevin lets go!” Joe said as Kevin said goodbye and followed them.
“They’re cute!” Said my 7 year old sister Bella. We all looked at her and laughed.
“Looks like someone has a slight crush on Frankie!” Gabby teased Bella. She blushed and walked away.
“How cute is that girl?” Ashlynn asked.
“Where’s Julia?” I asked curiously.
“She’s out of town,she’s going to be here tomorrow though” Ashlynn explained as I nodded my head.
“Oh great! Little miss Drama queen is going to be here!”
