Okay, I promise to try to keep going with this ff!!! I know I've started a lot.. But..I'll try to keep this one going.
Prologue:
"---And the home of the brave!" I sang, and as I finished I looked at Mrs. Rosencrantz (who I call "Mrs. R.") and Mrs. Mackelfresh (who I call "Mrs. Mac".). Mrs. Mac smiled and scribbled in her notebook.
"Great audition." Mrs. Mac murmured. "We'll send your letter in a month." I smiled and nodded.
I'm Emma, and I'm 8 years old here. I'm also... Trying out for Centennial Children's Chorus.
Anyway, as I walked out the door of the church, what seemed like a prosession walked in. 3 boys- one my age with curly brown hair, another with straight dark hair... he looked a little older, and an even older one with curly dark brown hair. Then there was a mom and dad, the dark, curly-haired mom carrying a baby. I smiled at them and went to my mom's car.
"Hey honey." My mom greeted me.
"Hi mommy."
------2 months later------
I walked back into the church; I had gotten the letter saying I gotten into Bel Canto. I saw everyone chatting with their friends at separate tables. I bit my lip. I have no friends.
My cheeks burned as I walked up to a lone table with no one sitting at it. The light shone beautifully through the window as I looked out it.
"Hello!" I perky boys voice came from behind me. I turned around to see a boy sittting down. It was the little curly haired boy!
"Hi," I greeted, smiling brightly.
"I'm Nick," he said, sitting down. "What's your name?"
"I'm Emma. What choir are you in?" I asked. You see, in CCC there are 4 different choirs according to age and singing ability. When you're 8, the only choir you can be in is Bel Canto because you are so young... So I shouldn't have asked that.
"Oh, Bel Canto. You?"
"Bel Canto!"
"Yay! We can be best friends!" We both smiled at eachother.
And that was the start of a great friendship between Nick and I.
Should I keep going? =]
Comments make me very happy!!
