She walked through a field as the wind whipped through her hair. He had left without a word. She went to his house to find it empty. She loves him and she thought he loved her back.
She finally gets there. The flattened spot in the field. They sat there many nights looking at the stars. Then she hears it. She hears their song.
She turns around and there he is guitar in hand, softly singing it.
"But you can see through me (yea)
How you get to me
You know i'm just a fraud
I'm just afraid
I feel the same
But don't tell anyone
Don't tell anyone " He sweetly sings hitting every note perfectly.
She jumps up and tackles him in a hug.
"I thought you left me here without a goodbye" She said as he held her in his arms.
"How could I leave the only thing I have ever loved." He replied.
A warm tear trickled down her face as she said, "I'm glad you care."
