Damsel In Distress
Told you I made dinner plans
For you and me and no one else
That don't include your crazy friends
Well I'm done
With awkward situation's empty conversations
He had stood her up once again and she was fed up with it. Normally he didn’t just forget she was there normally he remembered and brought his stupid friends along annoying her to an unknown degree. She didn’t need him; she could do better without him, why had she liked him? He wasn’t even that smart! She stood up her brown hair falling in front of her face and slammed her napkin down on the table before leaving the restaurant. She deserved better than him.
Oh This is an S.O.S.
Don't wanna second guess,
This is the bottom line
It's true
I gave my all for you,
now my heart's in two
And I can't find the other half
It's like I'm walking on broken glass,
better believe I bled
It's a call I'll never get
She had made it out the door when she spotted a familiar head running towards her. She wanted to ignore him the best she could but she just couldn’t. He begged for forgiveness saying he lost track of time. At least right now he didn’t have the normal tag alongs with him. She was heart broken he couldn’t remember something he had planned for her not to long ago. Almost a year spent with him wondering if he really cared. If he really thought of her as more than a friend. He had too he had told her he loved her just a while ago but he was still breaking her heart slowly. She didn’t want to forgive him but she had to.
So this is where the story ends
A conversation on IM
Well I'm done
with texting,
Sorry for the miscommunication
Two weeks later she heard the words she loathed. And she didn’t even hear them from him. She heard them from her phone. It had rung playing S.O.S. and when she looked down she paled considerably.
S, I’m sorry. It’s over. <3 H
He had dumped her just like that without even telling her himself. It was just a five word text message. She deserved so much better than him! How dare he do this to her, waste a year of her life just so that he could dump her?

It didn’t take her long to fix her broken heart. Well it wasn’t really fixed just the pain had stopped and she was fine with her half a heart. She walked around the world like a loner a girl scorned. And then she met him, his stunning black hair with those bright brown eyes, the smile hidden behind the pain. He too was heartbroken she found out. And also had half a heart.
Next time I see you
I'm giving you a high five
'cause hugs are over rated, just FYI
The relationship was slow at first neither ready to give their hearts up, neither ready for the heart break that they were sure was coming. High fives turned to hugs, smiles turned to kisses, fear turned to love, and hearts from broken to healed.

Don't wanna second guess,

(yeah)
And then it happened a fight that shattered both of them. He turned from her and she from him. Their tears evident, their fears coming true. He didn’t want to live without her. And she knew she couldn’t without him.

He didn’t call her to tell her how much she meant to him. Instead he waited and tried to fix the mistake. She was soon alone again and this time in trouble. She had messed with the wrong boy and she wasn’t sure if she could live. But then he saved her with a smile, a kiss and an I’m sorry. She loved him still even through the fight. And after he saved her all she could say made his day.
“Joe thanks for saving the damsel in distress,” she smiled.
“Damsel in distress I think not,” he answered kissing her.
