And the last time he ever saw her, she had run away. And never come back. Then he went to every high school in the state. She wasn't in any of them. He never gave up. Never. Even now, when he was constantly on the road, he called all the high schools. Jazz wasn't there. He would go into every concert, praying that for some odd reason, she would be there. She never was. Until, one night, when he looked into the audience. There she was. The girl that he had been searching endlessly for was in the third row at HIS concert. He almost jumped into the audience. He needed to see her. He needed to talk to her. He needed to kiss her. --- She looked up into his eyes. She knew he saw her. What had she expected? She was in the third row. Maybe he DIDN'T see her. He winked. He saw her.
