Chapter 2
CONCERT DAY!
MARISSA's P.O.V
I woke up with the sun shinning in my eyes. It was a beautiful day. It was concert day.
I was PUMPED!
I couldn't wait to see Kevin Joe.. and of course Nick..
NICK's P.O.V
Today, I was going to see her... Her beautiful long hair and big dark eyes...
I couldn't wait. I was nervous aswell though. What if shes changed... or what if i've changed...
MARISSA's P.O.V
I got my sister Steph, and my friend Ashley and we went to the concert. We arrive to see thousands
of screaming fans. WOW.
My boys have grown up. Then I saw them. They jumped out of there limo looked just as physced as I was.
OMG!
THERES KEVIN!! Oh wow!! Look at him! He is so grown up!! Awww I miss him so much! i just wanna give him a big hug!!
JOEEEE!! No more Joehawk?? Aww hehe. Long, Shiny, Dark hair.. He was still GAWJUZ!!
And then I saw him.. It felt like it was all in slow motion.. Nick jumped out of the car.. More confident then ever..
My sister nudged me..
'There he is..Your boy..' She smiled.
I smiled.. My boy..
WOW! He was gawjuz... his hair.. still curly and stunning.. his eyes... still big and dark.. and WOAH!! His muscels... When
did he get them!!
He must not have recognised me because he walked straight past me.. I didn't care though.. I couldn't WAIT for after the show.
NICK's P.O.V
I looked for her in the crowd as I got out of the limo... But i couldn't see her.
I sighed.
Its been 6 years.. of course she will look different to that little girl I grew up with.
MARISSA's P.O.V
The show was AMAZING.. Steph, Ash and I SCREAMED our heads off! We had a blast.
I had NO idea Joe could sing like that.. Wow.. And Kevin!! I always knew he rocked
the guitar..
But Nick... He has changed so much.. He plays guitar so well now and
his voice... Its even BETTER THAN BEFORE..
And again.. his MUSCELS .. you should have seen them while he played the guitar.. WOW..
NICK's P.O.V
Marissa would be here soon.
I hoped she liked the show!!
I was really, really, REALLY excited.. but of course really nervous. But I wanted to see
her more than ANYTHING in the entire world.
Then ... there was a knock at the door.
Me: ' I'll get it!' I yelled.
Kevin and Joe laughed.
I ran to the door.
I took a deep breath and opened it.
THERE SHE WAS. I picked her out straight away. Steph her sister, And her other friend ran in to see
Joe and Kevin. Marissa just stood there smiling at me.
My oh my.. She was BEAUTIFUL... Her beautiful long hair just as I remember .. Her BIG dark, exotic eyes.
I smiled. She smiled back. I coud hear Kevin, Joe and the two girls talking away... Good. There getting on.
I wanted to just jump at Mar, and give her the biggest hug.. But she beat me too it. She basically ran into my arms
like she could read my mind. And yep.. She DID still give the BEST hugs.. Until now.. I never relised
how much i missed her! We hugged tightly.
I pretty much never wanted to leave this spot. She was everything I hoped for and more.
I finally let go.
'Hey! Its so good to see you!' I said excitily.
'Oh my gosh!! Nick!! Look at you! Your so grown up! Your here! I missed you like hell!
AH! I love you..' She squealed.
She hugged me And held on tight.
She said it.. She said 'I love You'
Does she remember when I told her I loved her when I was 9..
I didn't mean it as Best Friend .. I really did love her. She was beautiful and still is.
'I love you too and missed you like hell aswell...' I finally said.
She smiled at me.. with her perfect teeth. I smiled back.
'Lets go sit down ' I said.
MARISSA's P.O.V
I followed Nick to the Lounge. I saw Joe.
'AHHH!' I squealed. I ran over and jumped next to Joe and hugged him.
He was gawjuz now! He was SO cute.. And he still had all his jokes!!
'MARISSA!!' He yelled Hugging me back. 'Its been TOO long girl!'
'I know right!! I've missed your jokes eh!!'
He laughed.
Then I spotted Kevin... But he wasn't that little dorky 14 year old and more... he was a 20 year old HOTTIE!!
'KEVIN!' I yelled
'HEY MAR! I've missed you! And I missed you knocking on my window at 4:30 in the morning.
'Haha! Yeah I miss that!!' I squealed.
I went and sat next to Nick.
Ashley went with Joe somewhere.. I think he was taking her on a tour of the Stadium.
And my older sister Steph was talking to Kevin about old times they had together.
Of course she never admitted it.. But I knew she liked him!!
Nick broke our silence..
'Soooo... uhh.. do you still wear the necklace?'
It was on my neck.. I showed him..
I kinda of paused abit.. remebering the day he moved and how I cried for days and days.. I never told him that though.
'I... well... I never.. take it off..'
He had the biggest smile on his face.
NICK's P.O.V
I smiled. She never took of the necklace I gave her on the day I moved.
Maaannn. Wasn't she perfect?
'So... When did you throw out the ring haha?' She said looking at my hands.
'OH! I didn't throw it out..' I grabbed the chain on my neck and showed her. She smiled.
'It got too small and I didn't want to throw it out.. So I put it on a chain.. Now I can wear it forever.'
I smiled.
She hugged me. Again, a long, warm hug. She didn't let go this time. We layed down on the couch holding eachother.
Like.. old times.
'You know Nick.. Your the still the SWEETEST boy I know.. I'm so glad you haven't changed.
Wow.. She was so amazing ..
'Well your still the most prettiest girl, inside and out, and I'm glad THAT hasn't changed.
I see her smile. I smile too.
'Well Uh... I better go..We've been here forever... I'll see you soon.
She does a little wave and heads for the door.
NO DONT GO! DO SOMETHING NICK! DO SOMETHING!
'Mar! Wait!'
She turneds around, her hair flicks around. It so beautiful.
I was speechless.. I was blinded by her beauty... She was no longer the girl next door...
She was more than that.
She looks confussed.. Probally cause I was just staring at her...
'Yeah??' She asked.
TALK NICK!! TALK!! I think to myself.
'Oh um... Well do you want to uh.. do you want to stop by the hotel tomorrow... I really
want to see you again...
'Yeah ... of course...' She said flashing her million dollar smile.
'Okay.. Come by the duxton, room 139 at like 11??
I say feeling relieved.
'Okay sure.' She pauses and just looks at her feet looking like she is about to cry.
I look at her.. She finally looks up at me..
SILENCE.
Then she runs over to me and hugs me.
'I'll see you soon kay?' She says.
'Yeah.. I'll see you soon!' I finally say.
I'd miss her.

MARISSA's P.O.V
I wake up at 9 o'clock. 2 hours to spare. I was going to Nick's hotel today..
I put on my skinny-leg jeans, a cute top and brought a jumper.. just in-case.
Can I just say last night.. Wow.. Amazing.. We Nick hugged me.. WOW.
His muscels around me and he gave the BEST hugs ever. He is AMAZING.
He is the perfect boy... I just..uh.. wish I could tell him that..
I called a cab. It arrives in 20 minutes.. Its 10:45 Perfect... I should be there
just on time.
I arrive at the hotel 11:05 ... great time. I tip the driver and run up the stairs and into the hotel..
Its horrible weather. Raining alot. Gee.. LuckiIy I brought that jumper! I meet Kevin and Joe coming out of the lift.
'Hey guys! Is Nick up there still?' Asking the obvious.
'Yeah hes up there.' Said Joe.
'Have fun!' Kevin says... sounding really... weird...
The walk off.. I hear Kevin laugh.. But I don't take offence I know what
they are saying and OH I wish!
I go up to his floor and stand outside his room. I take a deep breath and knock on his door.
He answered the door looking FINE... as always..
He is wearing a sleevless top - I can totally see his muscels.. ahhhh. And skinnys.
He is SO amazing... He smiles at me.
'Hey!' He said smiling at me.
'Heyy! Horrible weather eh?' I say giggling.
We laugh.
Wow he doesnt have a hotel room.. he has a suite!!
Its amazing! And.. BIG!
' Wow... Nice place!!' I say looking around.
'Haha yeah.. The maid just came in and made the bed.. You thinking what I'm thing??' He asked winking.
'OMG YES!! Lets do it...' I squealed.
I slip of my shoes and he grabs my hand we run and jump up onto the bed.
We start jumping and laughing. We always used to do it when we were little...
If there was a made bed in my house or Nicks... It wouldn't be made anymore.
Kevin used to get so angry!! Haha.
NICK's P.O.V
We were jumping on the bed.. Just like what we did when were were little.
Somehow I trip..
I fall on top of her.
I'm shocked.. I hope I didn't squish her..
But she smiles.. And does a little giggle.
She looks into my eyes.
I look in hers.
Is she thinking the same thing as me..
I want to ...kiss her.. I really like her and this is my chance.
'Uh.. I'm.um.. sorry.' I mumble.
I start to stand up, but she grabs my shoulders and pull me back down
She smiles at me. I smile back.
I start to kiss her.
She kisses back...
Yes! She likes me...
Shes so amazing...
Her lips are soft and warm and ... oh shes just SO beautiful..
I am seriosuly the LUCKIEST guy in the world right now. I'm kissing the prettiest girl ever.
MARISSA's P.O.V
WOAH he is one hell of a good KISSER. Yeah thats right...
We are KISSING. I know right...
Be Jealous!
God, I love him.. He the most amazing boy ever.
We continue kissing... Yay...
He stops..
Why did he stop!?I think.
He looks at me and smiles..
'Can I just say that...' He begins.
OH hurry up and KISS ME again! I think to myself.
'Yeahhh...' I say.. hoping its something good.
'I just .. uh.. wanted to say that.. you are... amazing.. And when I moved to California and left you in New Jersey.. I was really upset and I'm
not afraid to say that I.. uhm.. cried for days and days.. I was going to tell you before i left... but it was too hard...'
I looked down.. then back at him 'Tell me..what?'
'I was going to tell that.. Since we were 4 years old... I've loved you..' He said.
Wow... Any guy that can say.. that is one hell of a boy... I smiled.. Ear to Ear...
I loved him too...
'Nick.. your the most amazing boy.. ever.. I can't believe you acctually just said that.. No guy has ever said that to me...
And... when you left I cried for days aswell.. I missed you so much.. The day you left I didn't go home I spent the day in the forest..
In OUR treehouse and on OUR swing. And do you know how HAPPY I was for you and your brothers when I heard about your band..
You accomplished your dream... and ... I'm SO.. proud of you. And.. I love you too..'
Nick smiles.
'I love you. Your amazing.' He said.
He hugs me and we start kissing again.
Then something really awkward happened.
Joe ran in.
We looked up at him. Shocked.
He did his famous line.
'Awkwaaaarrrddd'
We all laughed.
'Sorry I'm just getting my coat... WHAT!? Nick! What the Heck!? The maid just made that bed! ...
Oh wait... I forgot... there can never be a made bed in the house... riggghhttt. BTW - don't mess up Kevin's or he will get really mad. '
Me and Nick laugh.
'Don't worry we wont. Haha.' Nick said laughing.
'Now run along Joe. haha.' I say signally to the door.
He smiles and runs out the door.
Me and Nick decide we should watch a movie for awhile so we lay on his bed, arms around each other, watching Titanic.
It was a kodak moment.
'I wanna remember today...' He said grabbing out his digital camera.
Me: 'haha.. Me too.'
We take a few photos, of us together.
'Make sure you send me them haha..' I say laughing..
Then I remember... that Nick is going to be leaving in a couple of days...
My heart Sinks...
I think he knew what I was thinking because he looked at me then looked away and
had an 'I'm-sorry' look on his face.
'I... I don't want you too leave...' I say looking up into his eyes.
'I don't want to leave either... I want to stay with you...' He says.
NICK's P.O.V
I didn't want to leave her...
I saw a tear go down her face..
I wiped it off for her.
'Hey.. look at me.' I say.
She looks up with her sad eyes.
Me: ' Remember our pact... Not matter what happens in the future... Best Friends for LIFE.. No matter WHAT Marissa... I will ALWAYS love you..'
She nods. But I know she is still upset.
'I'm going to miss you...so..soo much.' She blurts out.
I lean over at kiss her on the forehead.
We go silent for awhile. She puts her head on my shoulder and we watch the movie for a couple more minutes.
I had to think of something...
'Come with me!' I blurt out.
She shoots her head up at me. 'Wh...what?'
I take a deep breath.
'Come back to California with us for awhile.. You'd love the beaches.. and the shops..' I say. 'And you'll LOVE the new house aswell...'
She smiles. 'Nick.. you know I'd love to.. but.. Mom would probaly never let me go..'
Did that mean no? I think she could tell I was upset.
She sighed. Then she smiled. 'But I can ask her...' She said kissing me.
I shot up. 'Re..really? You want to come?' I said quickly.
She laughed. 'I wouldn't miss it for the world!' She squealed.
