Graduation day had come, and they’d watched eachother walk the journey from the first day of kindergarden to the last day of 12th grade. Cameras flashed, applause congratulated them, and moms shead tears, knowing their babies were finally going to leave the nest. Nick and Katy were going to the same college together. “We did it” Katy whispered into Nick ear as she wrapped her arms around him to dance. “I knew we could do it.” Nick whispered back. Life wouldn’t be the same after this, but better. This was the way it was supposed to be.

4 years later, after college graduation, Nick had a plan of surprising Katy with something. A ring, to show his love, and ask for her hand in marriage. “Katy, I love you, and I don’t want to be with anyone but you. Will you marry me?” Nick asked, getting down on one knee. “Nick, yes, of course I will” Katy cried. Nick slipped the ring onto her finger, and kissed her.
A few months later, an applause filled a Church as the new Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Jonas was announced. Katy and Nick walked arm and arm back down the isle, ready to start their new lives together. This was the way it was supposed to be.
