As promised.... Here is the next chapter!!!
Chapter 4
*Nick’s POV*
I woke up in my bunk feeling like my world had come crashing down. Last night was hard. I had found someone amazing and somehow she slipped away. I only saw her from a distance, but something told me that this was the girl, there was something about her. I knew nothing about her, only the way her eyes sparkled when she smiled and the way her hair framed her face perfectly.
I got up and walked into the back lounge of the bus. I knew that if I went up front, everyone would be hounding me. I stared out the window and looked up at the clouds. I found myself immersed in thought when Kevin came over to me. “Hey bro, feeling any better?” I looked at him with a blank expression, “No, not really.” He looked at me questioningly, “Nicholas, there are plenty of other girls out there. Let her go. I’m sure you’ll find one even more amazing.” “Kevin, you don’t understand. There was something about her that blew me away. For the first time in a while, I became nervous to perform. All night I felt like I was on a rollercoaster. Certain times I felt like I was sick, because I was nervous and I was working myself up. Then others I felt my stomach flipping and my heart racing. The feelings I got when I looked at her were unexplainable. And now she’s gone.”
*Kevin’s POV*
I had no idea Nick felt this way. He was head over heels about a girl he practically knew nothing about. I was dumbfounded by his words, and the emotion he put behind them. I knew I wanted to help, but how would I be able to when we knew so little about her. “It sounds like you really like this girl, Nick.” He looked at me and smiled, “Yeah, I do. When I looked at her and she smiled at me, the other 12,000 people disappeared and I could only see her.” I ran my hands through my hair and breathed heavily, “Wow, I don’t know what to say. We’ll find her Nick, don’t worry.” And with that I walked to the front of the bus to give him some privacy and some time to think.
*Megan’s POV*
I was sitting in my bunk when Kevin came up to me, “We need to do something.” Taking my headphones out I squinted, “What are you talking about?” Little did I know, the next word he said would make me feel a million times worse, “Nick”.
I knew he was mad at me. He didn’t speak to me after last night’s events. I screwed everything up, I got the wrong girl. I had brought to him the one I thought he liked, not the one he was head-over-heels for. You would think that after 2 years I would know him better than anyone else. I was dirt to him now.
Kevin sat down in my bunk as I pulled open my laptop. I quickly google-searched the radio stations around last night’s venue. After a few minutes, I found the one that was doing all of the concert promotions. I got the station’s number and gave a quick look to Kevin who smiled and nodded approvingly.
“Hello? This is Megan, I work for the Jonas Brothers as their assistant. You might remember me from when I dropped off those backstage passes for one of your contests last week? Yes. Ok, well I have a small favor to ask. Nick found a girl in the audience that he liked and he wanted to meet her, so I brought her backstage and it turns out that it was the wrong girl. He really liked this girl and I was wondering if you guys could help us out. We know that she was sitting in section 3, row 8, seat 5. She had on a silky pink shirt, white jacket with sequins and curly blonde hair. She had a friend with her in seat 6 with a blue top and short black hair. If you guys could make an announcement about the girl in that seat on the radio, that would be great. Call me immediately if you find her. Thank you so much.”
Kevin smirked, “I knew there was a reason why we hired you. I’m sure she’ll call.” We walked out into the main area where everyone else was sitting, except for Nick. About an hour later my phone rang. I quickly answered and looked over at Kevin, “They found her.”
