Hey everybody, welcome to my fan fiction. I hope you enjoy your stay, although I do admit the first few chapters are a little rough.
I think they'll get better. Read and then comment; you'll make me smile. =D <- just like that.
Reminisce on the Memories
Chapter 1
Kevin’s Point of View
September, 2000
As we waited for my parents to get home with the newest addition to our family, my brothers and I sat on the couch and watched “Rocket Power.”
Nick was extremely excited he was going to get a little brother, as were Joe and I.
Finally, after much anticipation, we heard the door know turning. We all jumped up and ran to the door before I parents could get inside.
My dad was holding Frankie in his arms, as our mom hugged each of us. “I missed you,” she told us, smiling.
“He’s so cute,” Nick said, squirming a little. He reached out and touched Frankie’s forehead gently, and Frankie opened his eyes.
“He looked at me,” he exclaimed happily. Joe reached out for Frankie too and gave him a kiss on the forehead.
We made our way to the living room and started talking to each other about our day, as each of us got to hold Frankie for the first time.

Marie smiled and looked over Kevin, then back at the screen.
“We don’t want to know yet,” she said to the ultrasound technician, in response to whether their baby that would arrive in three months would be a boy or a girl.
“Yes we do,” Kevin said, looking at her questioningly. “I thought we agreed we wanted to know.”
“I changed my mind,” Marie said giggling, her blonde curls bouncing with each laugh.
“You’re just teasing me now,” Kevin said, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
The ultrasound technician came up with a compromise, “How about I write down the gender and put it in an envelope, and you guys can decide when and if you’re going to open it.”
They nodded in agreement. “That’s a good idea,” Kevin stated simply.
They spend the rest of the ultrasound looking at the little hands and feet of their soon to be second child, unsure if it was a boy or a girl.
As the young couple drove home, they stopped at the babysitter’s to pick up Alexis, their two year old daughter.
Instead of going straight home, however, they took Alexis out for a treat at McDonald’s.
“Yay!” she squealed, upon seeing the golden arches come into view. “Mickey Dees!”
Kevin chuckled at his daughter, as he ran his hand through his dark brown curls.
Once they got inside of the fast food establishment, Alex took off straight for the play place, but Marie grabbed her arm before she got too far. “After you eat, sweetie.”
She then picked her up and held her in her arms, while Alexis pouted. After Kevin ordered food for the three of them, they walked over to a table and sat down.
The envelope with the gender of the baby stuck out from Marie’s purse, persuading them to open it.
“Are you sure you don’t want to know?” Kevin asked between fries.
She nodded. “We found out for Alex, so why not leave this one a surprise.”
Kevin sighed, and then his phone beeped. A text message.
Joe: So... boy or girl? 12:23 PM
He showed the phone to Marie, “See, even Joe wants to know.”
“You just won’t let this slide, will you?”
He shook his head and pouted. “Nope.”
“Fine, we’ll talk about it when we get home, okay?” He nodded in agreement.
Kevin responded to Joe, telling him he didn’t know. Joe replied back with a sad face, and then said he had to go.
As the small family continued to chat and eat happily, little comments from Alexis making them smile, a young lady who appeared to be in her early twenties walked over to the table.
“Kevin Jonas?” She asked.
Beginning eleven years ago, Kevin and his brothers were famous rock stars, well known and well liked.
They still were all involved in music together and individually, now more behind the scenes with producing and writing for other stars more than anything else. They still did the occasional interview and were occasionally noticed in public.
They were grateful for the years they had in the spotlight, but they knew it wouldn’t last forever. Kevin didn’t mind; as much as he loved the fame, he also loved being able to have a nice meal with his family without being interrupted.
When he was noticed, though, it reminded him of those wonderful days he’d had with his brothers. And of course, it boosted his ego just a little.
He nodded to the young lady and said, “Yep, and this is my wife—”
“Marie,” she finished for him, “and Alexis.”
He smiled. “What’s your name?”
“Julie,” she replied, seemingly star struck.
Kevin chuckled, “Nice to meet you. You want a picture or something?”
She nodded happily and pulled out her camera. After they took a picture and talked for a little while longer and she loosened up a bit, Julie left the family to their dining.
They continued to eat, until Alex shouted, “I’m done!!! Go play now?” She asked sweetly.
Marie and Kevin nodded, and she toddled off towards the play place.
Tomorrow would be a big day, as it was Joe’s wedding day and Kevin, Nick, and Frankie were all the groomsmen. Marie also happened to be Joe’s fiancé’s best friend, so she was the matron of honor.
