Counting the Steps you Take
Prologue;
"Joseph, I am not joking around anymore, stop it!" Noelle giggled as his fingertips came in contact with her nose. His soapy fingers left suds on it. "That's a big smile for someone who's no longer playing around anymore." Joe raised his eyebrow as he stared at her. "Whatever." It was a dull silence as her eyes met his. Vulnerability shone in her eyes. Was he about to kiss me!? She thought to herself. This moment is finally coming! "Why're you looking at me so weird?" Joe asked. Her eyes met the floor and then turned back around to finish doing the dishes. Joe shrugged and helped her. "Joe, we need to hurry up, you're mother is going to kill us when she finds out we've made a bigger mess than we were supposed to clean." She dried off a plate and gently handed it to Joe; who just stood there with it. Joe didn't speak. She turned back around to face him. "Joseph, what're you doing? Put the plate away." She scoffed. "I have to tell you something, Noah, and it's going to change both of our lives." He inhaled a deep breath, and exhaled a powerful sigh. "Our friendship'll be at stake." He spoke softly.
This is going to be a short fanfic if you're interested. Because I already have two fanfics and I was just wondering if you guys would be interested in another one. I won't write it if you're not into it. Just comment if you want me to write it; if you don't...I won't. (it's going to be really I mean really short. Not a lot of chapters probably, but who knows.)
