III
They reached the venue around 6:02 after stopping at the diner down the street and stopping at Starbucks to fulfill Meghan’s chai latte needs. They walked past the many fans that were already there, and up to a security guard. They handed him their passes and he led them down the hall and towards a door labeled, “Jonas Brothers.” “They’re in there.” The security guard said pointing towards the door, “If you need anything, Big Rob is in the room next door.”
“hey!” Katie whispered, “I have an idea, we should stay out here, Joe will freak considering its already 6:05 if we don’t show up soon.”
“wait!” Marisa said, “We are SERIOUSLY meeting the Jonas Brothers? I thought you were kidding at the diner!”
“Shh!!” Meg said, “yes, now let’s stand against the wall and listen. I wanna hear what happens.”
MEANWHILE INSIDE THE JOBRO DRESSING ROOM…..
“Where are they?!” Joe frantically asked Kevin, “They were supposed to be here seven minutes ago!!! Maybe the got in a car accident! Oh no! Kevin call Meg and find out where they are!!”
“Dude,” Kevin replied, “Chill out. They’ll be here soon. In the meantime, I smell Starbucks. Be back soon.”
Kevin walked out the door and as he closed it someone grabbed him and covered his mouth from behind. They pulled him away from the door. He turned around and it was Meghan. “What are you-“ he asked, but he was cut off.
“Shhh!” Meg said, “We were trying to freak out Joe. Wanna help?”
Kevin laughed. “Yeah listen, I’ll bring you and Marisa in and we’ll tell Joe that Katie didn’t want to come. He’s flipping out now because you’re late, but he will totally die if we told him Katie didn’t show! Oh, and I need some of that chai latte as pay first.”
Meghan handed over the cup and walked with him and Marisa in to the room. “Hey Joe, Nick!” he called as he entered, “Look who I found!”
Joe leaped off the couch when he heard this and smiled hugely. Then, he noticed Katie wasn’t there and his smile dropped. “Where’s Katie?”
“Oh,” Marisa said, shrugging, “She decided to spend tonight at the movies with her boyfriend Tyler.”
“oh ok…” Joe frowned and sat back on the couch all sad, “I didn’t know she had a boyfriend…I thought she liked me….”
Just then Katie came in the door. “I don’t have a boyfriend,” she giggled, “surprise! We tricked you!”
“That was not a nice trick! Kevin you were in on this?!”
“Dude, they gave me Starbucks, what was I supposed to do?”
“Joe, I’m sorry” Katie said giving him a hug, “You forgive me though right?”
“mmmm….ok!”
“By the way, Nick,” Meghan said leading Marisa over to him, “This is Marisa! Marisa this is Nick!”
Nick and Marisa smiled at each other for a moment, “Hey.” Nick finally said.
“H-H-Hi. W-whats up?”
“Not much,” he shrugged, “Just a concert you know, nothing big, how about you? A girl as pretty as you must have a boyfriend.”
Marisa giggled nervously, “No, sadly not. How about you? Except a girlfriend of course, I wouldn’t think you have a boyfriend…I mean if you do that’s ok, but-ah! What am I saying?”
Nick laughed and took her hand and let her towards the couch. He pulled her into his lap, “No, I don’t have a boyfriend, or girlfriend for that matter…but I do like this one girl.” He smiled at her.
Marisa’s smile fell. “oh, that’s nice.”
Meghan and Katie stopped their conversations with Joe and Kevin to shout, “HE MEANS YOU STUPID!”
“you do?”
“Yeah, I do.”
“So, Katie,” Joe smiled, “You play Guitar Hero?”
“Who doesn’t? You got it here?”
“DUH! Wanna play?”
Katie nodded and they picked up the guitars. Katie was much better than Joe, but he wouldn’t admit it.
“So um..Meghan,” Kevin asked still holding her hand from when they walked in the door, “Wanna go for a walk around the venue?”
“Sure,” Meghan said, “Let’s go.”
On her way out, she threw out the empty Starbucks cup as Kevin opened the door for her. They walked in silence for a few moments down the hall, but it wasn’t an awkward silence. It was comforting. “So, what are you thinking about?” Kevin asked stepping into a small room so they could talk.
Meg grabbed his other hand, “I was thinking about how lucky I am to be here, with you, and how many girls would want to be in my place right now. How about you?”
Kevin looked in her eyes and gave her a small kiss on the forehead, “I was thinking about how much I really like you and I was wondering if you..”
“Kevin,” Joe said walking in, “Sound check time. Let’s go.”
Kevin sighed and held Meghan’s hand as he followed Joe out. Wondering if I what, Meg thought, Of course Joe just HAD to walk in! Meg, Katie, and Marisa all waited in the dressing room while the boys walked off to sound check. Before they knew it, it was showtime.

we were feeling very ambitious and decided to post the next chapter for the heck of it:][: no more chapters until we get comments though!
IV
The boys gave all the girls hugs before taking their positions underneath the stage. Meg, Katie, and Marisa headed to the side to watch the concert. The entire crowd screamed so loud, they thought that they would go deaf. The boys played Year 3000 and Hold On. Then, it was time for Hello Beautiful. They pulled out three stools. The girls figured that Nick, Joe, and Kevin would sit on them, considering they didn’t bring girls up anymore since they became so famous. “Ok,” Joe said into the microphone, “Well, you all know the next song, but we would like to bring three special people out for it. Kevin, could you please get the girls.”
Kevin walked over to the side of the stage and grabbed Meghan’s hand and guided her and her sisters to the stage. Each of the boys helped the girls onto the stools. Then Kevin began to play, and Nick began to sing. Hello Beautiful, hows it going?
When the song finally ended, Kevin gave Meghan a kiss on the forehead, Nick gave Marisa a kiss on the cheek, and Joe gave Katie a very gentle kiss. Garbo then came to bring the girls off stage. The girls were blushing wildly for the rest of the night. When the show finally ended, all the girls congratulated them, gave them a hug, and thanked them. “So, you really liked it?” Joe asked.
“No Joe,” Katie replied sarcastically, “I hated it with a burning passion…Of Course! I LOVED IT!”
“Good. Can we talk?”
“Yeah can I talk to you too Marisa?” Nick asked.
“Same here Meg. Could I talk to you?” Kevin added
“Sure.” All the girls replied.
Joe and Katie walked down the hall to an empty room, Nick and Marisa did the same, and Meghan and Kevin went back to the dressing room. “So, what did you wanna talk about?” Meg pondered, “Oh, and what were you wondering about earlier? You don’t just leave me hanging like that!”
“Well…I needed to ask you…if you and your sisters wanted to come on tour with us. And what I was wondering was if you would be my girlfriend?”
“Yes and I thought you would never ask.” Then he kissed her, a very safe and protective kiss.
“So Joe, whats up?” Katie asked.
“well…” Joe began while wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her close, and looking down into her eyes, “I wanted to know if you would come on tour with us?”
Katie screamed, “OMJ!! YES! YES! YES!”
“Did you just say, omj? Doesn’t that mean oh my jonas?”
“uhh, no! It means oh my jesus. Duh, he needs love too!”
Joe laughed. “Ok, well get your sisters and get packing. Meet us here tomorrow morning at 8.”
Then he kissed her.
“So..Nick, what did you want to talk about?” Marisa asked leaning up against the wall.
“Well,” Nick said walking over to her and standing in front of her, we talked to our parents and they were ok with it, so we were wondering if you girls wanted to come on tour with us?”
“oh my gosh, Nick, yes, I can’t think of a better way to spend the summer.”
“Great. As long as I’m with you, my summer will be perfect.” Then he gave her a soft kiss, “Come on, let’s get back to the others.”
Joe and Katie walked into the dressing room to find, Meghan and Kevin kissing. “Ok, we’re back!” Joe said, “Save it for the bus!”
“Gosh, get a room!” Katie added with a laugh.
“Well, we HAD one until you walked in.” Meg said pulling away from Kevin, “Why do you two ALWAYS have to ruin the moment?”
“Yeah,” Kevin added, “At Xpect, before soundcheck, and now!”
“It’s my job bro.” Joe shrugged. Just then Marisa and Nick walked in.
“So,” Nick said, “I’m assuming that they said yes right?”
“Actually, Katie said, and I quote OMJ! YES! YES! YES!unquote.” Joe chuckled.
“And Meg said yes to both my questions.” Kevin smiled, looking at Meg, who was still on his lap.
“What??” Joe asked surprised, “Did you like ask her to marry you or something!?”
“I call being the maid of honor!” Katie screamed, “Marisa can be a bridesmaid. Joe and Nick, you could be the best men, Frankie is the ring bearer, and Kevin, I guess you can be the groom. Considering it’s the only part left…Well there is the flower girl, but that would be kind of awkward.”
“Katie!” Meg screamed, “WE ARE NOT GETTING MARRIED!” yet, Kevin added in his head.
“I just asked her to be my girlfriend. Don’t blow things out of proportion.” Kevin added.
“JOE STARTED IT! AND THAT’S SO ADORABLE!!! By the way, WE NEVER MET FRANKIE!”
“oh,” Joe said, “He had a Webkinz convention.”
“Aw man, I missed it?!” Katie laughed, “We’ll see him tomorrow right? Cause if not, I can’t come. My life is devoted to that kid.”
They all laughed. Then the girls had to leave so that they could pack and get to sleep. The boys gave them kisses goodbye, making goodbyes a little longer than they should’ve been. Finally, the girls headed out the door to get ready for what would be one of the greatest days of their life.
