Chapter One- I Am What I Am

 Meet Me, Bridget Marie Callahan. You've probably never heard my name before. If you have its only because my dad committed suicide a little over a year ago. Yep, Officer David Callahan, the NYC cop, killed himself. Before then I was a pretty happy person, I had friends, guys liked me, I had good grades, and I was daddy's little girl. But then my dad felt the need to kill himself. Why? To be honest with you, I have no clue. One day he was there smiling the next we were getting a phone call from the cops that found him at the bottom of the Hudson River. Crazy. The only clue I have to figuring out why he did that was note in his jacket pocket that they found.

My mom had died when I was just three years old, of cancer. My dad and I had been living in the small town of Somerset, NJ since I was 4. I love that town. There's such much to do, but its out of the hussle and bussle of the city. I guess that's why we moved here. My dad loved the city. My dad supported my obsession of the Jonas Brothers; his favorite song by them was Eternity, which not really got to me. HOW COULD HE LEAVE ME LIKE THAT!?
I now lived in Union, NJ with my Aunt and Uncle and my two younger cousins. Don't get me wrong, I love them but I want to bring my parents back, of course. There was a time where I had reached an all time low. I had no friends. I was constantly teased for being the "emo girl who feels sorry for her self". I had plans to kill myself as well, but I never did. I would not leave this earth without meeting the Jonas Brothers, my all time favorite band, and my best friends who I have never met.
