Alright here's my part. Hopefully y'all like it. And sorry it's not as long as Vanna's part. Hopefully I'll make my next part longer.

CHAPTER 2


The mysterious girl took me to this little space not that far from the vender. It was dark and moist. It was a different place then before. But there were blankets and empty cans and things that made it look like someone lived there. Strange place to live I thought.
"So what's your name?" The strange girl asked me. 
"Um..." I looked around to think of a name. I saw a can of soup and I decided to say what I saw. "My name is Campbell. What's yours?" I asked her. She was eating the other piece of fruit that she took and just stared at me. 
"My names Skyla. How did you get here?" She asked me sitting down on one of the blankets. 
"Truthfully? I have no clue. All I remember is waking up in a field and getting brought into town by some officer. And then I met you." I said just before I took a bite of the fruit. 
"If you don't mind me asking, why are you here?" 
She waited for a second to answer. "It's because of the emperor." 
"There's an emperor here?" I asked questioning. I don't know this place and I don't know this girl or this emperor person. I wanted some answers.
"Yeah. The emperor made me leave my home. My parents couldn't afford to give him the money we are suppose to. So he took our home and he took my parents away. All I have now is myself and this place. This is now my home." Skyla said looking over to one wall. I was shocked. She was around my age, and I know that it was pretty young. Just think, this emperor person made this girl live on the street? Its crazy. "What's the emperors name?" I asked. I was really curious by now. 
"We just call him emperor Nick. He has a few brothers too, but they are much kinder then he is." Skyla said finishing her fruit and throwing her core to the side. 
"Interesting. I never have been in a place like this before. I was wondering, would you mind if I stayed here for the night? I don't know this place and I don't know where to go." I asked politely. I just wanted to know there was somewhere I could go. Somewhere I could stay. 
"Sure. If you would like. Would you like to be my friend? You'd be my only one." Skyla said smiling at me. 
"Thank you. And I'd love to be your friend Skyla. Skyla and Campbell. Together through it all." I said laughing.--
