hey everyone. i've been reading a lot of great stories on this site. and i just had this idea come to me last weekend and wrote the prologue down. i'm really curious on what your thoughts about it are. so let me now, and depending on the response i might post the first chapter after i get it done. and without farther ado... here is the prologue.
Prologue
Hi everyone. My name is Lucky. I know what you’re thinking. Who names their kid Lucky?
You’ll discover the reason behind my name, later on. This story isn’t about me anyway. No, this story is about Crystal.
Now who’s Crystal, you ask. Well she’s a girl that I’ve known since she was fifteen. She’s eighteen now, so it’s been three years since we met.
I might be a little biased here, but I think that she is a fantastic person. Beautiful on both the inside and out. She’s 5’4” close to 5’5” and of average build, from what I can tell anyway. Her thick, wavy brown hair goes down to about her mid-back, which is something that I’ve heard that a lot of girls would love to have. Her eyes are most definitely the most unique thing about her though. Her left eye is blueish-green while her right eye is about 2/3 brown and 1/3 blueish-green. Her eyes, however, are normally hidden behind her oval, blue colored gl*CENSORED*.
I’ve noticed that when she first meets someone, she’s shy and quiet. Then when she becomes comfortable around a person, she’s more outgoing and can become quite the chatterbox. She tries her best to be nice to everyone. But don’t think she won’t stand up for herself if she needs to. Crystal is a funny girl with a sarcastic sense of humor which she uses to make others laugh whenever she can.
One thing I know for sure about her, that I don’t think anybody else sees, is that she’s most herself when she’s around those she loves the most. Myself included of course. Another thing I know is that I’m probably the only one who knows all of her secrets and inner thoughts.
Or at least I was the only one, before she met her current boyfriend. But I don’t mind not being the only one to know the real her anymore. I love to see my owner happy, and he makes her just that.
What’s that you ask? Yes, I did say owner. I guess I should probably tell you who I am now, before you start to freak out.
