Chapter 9: Hold On
*Joe’s POV*
I ran over to Nick after singing That’s Just the Way We Roll and he told me what happened with Julia.
“Well, we need to do something. Show her encouragement or something.” I said. I feel really bad for her. She’s becoming like a sister to me now and I can’t see her like this. “Think Nick, think!” then we both felt the light bulbs turn on in our heads. “You thinking what I’m thinking?”
“Oh yeahhh” Nick replied and we both explained to Kevin really fast and got back to the show.
*Brandi’s POV*
I can’t believe Cameron did that to her. She was finally getting over him and he comes and ruins it for her.
I noticed Crystal starting to walk towards me and Julia. I rolled my eyes and looked the other way. What’s so stupid is that the poor girl hasn’t done anything, but I still think she’s evil.
“What’s wrong?” She asked Julia and I, sounding genuinely concerned.
“My ex is trying to get me back to make his other ex jealous. It just brings a lot of bad memories back.” Julia said as a new set of tears started running down her face along with some mascara.
The boys ran back to us with a little five minute break as they got some water. Joe went over to Crystal and Kevin walked over to Spencer.
*Julia’s POV*
Spencer and Kevin shared a couple of kisses and a little talk while Joe was talking seriously to Crystal about only God knows what. Nick…walked over to Keiko and gave her a kiss on the cheek and a hug then ran over to me and my tear-stained face. “How are you feeling?” he asked, wiping some tears away.
“Ok I guess. I just can’t believe he is trying this on me. I haven’t replied yet.” Right then my phone started ringing.
*Nick’s POV*
I listened to Julia as I tried to think of a way to make her feel better and forget about that jerk. Her phone started ringing and she answered it. I was about to listen in on her convo when I heard Keiko say something.
“God, that Julia girl has mascara running down her face while I’m over here looking stunning, yet Nick still runs to her. I mean, he’s , my boyfriend!!” I rolled my eyes. ‘What a drama queen’ I thought. Then I looked at Julia to see her start crying all over again. I ran to her in time to hear and catch up on the phone conversation.
“No Cameron! You’re just a jerk! I don’t like you any more!! Would you leave me alone!!!?” She screamed and snapped the razr shut. She collapsd in my arms and I just sat there comforting her.
One minute passed and I hear my dad calling me on stage. I gave Julia a sympathetic look and walked onto the stage.
We sang several more songs. We just finished Hello Beautiful and I look at Joe and Kevin. They both nod their heads.
“There is this girl who is really struggling right now. She’s going through a lot of pain. She is actually on tour with us.” Kevin began.
“See, this guy she really really liked broke up with her only to try and get her back to make another girl jealous. On top of that she is dealing with being away from home and…us.” Joe continued with a little laugh at the end.
“This girl, Julia, means a lot to us. Especially me. WE all connect and it really makes our hearts break to see her like this. So Julia…this song is to you. Please…please hold on.” I finished and we started the song that we dedicate to her tonight.
We don’t have time left to regret

We finished the song and sang encore. Then we walked off. I looked over to see Julia actually smiling at me. I started walking over to her only to get interrupted by a little someone under the label…girlfriend.
