*Brandi’s POV*
“That little jerk!!!” ugh, I haven’t stopped talking about how Joe is meeting with Crystal at the concert. I’m just sooo mad at him. “I mean, how could he do this. He flirts with me and acts like he likes me yet he still is with HER!!...Julia?...Julia!?”
I look over at Julia and realize she’s asleep in Nick’s bunk. That’s probably the closest bunk she could get to. I’ve been yelling at her all day talking about this. Poor girl hasn’t gotten any sleep. I kept her up all night talking about it.
I walk into the main little room to find all the boys watching a stupid football game.
“Hey where’s Julia?” Hmmm, I wonder why nick asks so much about her.
“She’s asleep in your bunk. Sorry I’ve been talking her ear off so much she wanted to sleep and your bunk was the closest to her.”
Nick’s eyes got realll wide. “uh oh”
Right on time. Next thing I know, I can hear Julia screaming back in the bunks. All four of us run back there and find her practically hyperventilating on the floor.
“What’s wrong?”
“Snake!” I could barely hear her. Her voice was like really soft but high-pitched. You know, when girls get scared, how they talk. Yeah.
“I’m sooo sorry!!! I didn’t know any one was going to get in my bunk.” Nick ran over to her and helped her up.
“Are you trying to tell us you brought a snake in here!” Is he crazy?
“Well, I found it in the grass when we stopped for gas earlier. I though it was cool and its harmless, I looked it up. So I brought it in and put it on my bed. I figured it would stay there.”
“oh, it stayed there all right!” Julia looked really mad once she got over her fright. “It slithered up my leg!!!”
Ooooh, that had to be freaky.
“I am sooo sorry!! Really Julia, I’ll put it back outside…” Nick started to look around.
I was scared to ask why he looked so frightened. “What’s wrong?”
“uhhh, nothing, nothing at all.”
“You lost the snake didn’t you.”
“uhh, yeah, maybe.”
Julia tried to keep her composure but she has a huge fear of snakes. “I’m outta here!!”
“Wait, found it!” Nick crawled out from under his bunk holding the snake.
“ok, now throw it out the window.” Julia was slowly backing away as she said this. Nick did what she said. Everybody blew a sigh of relief.
“Ok, I got to call Cameron back, I promised him I would after last night. He said he wants to talk about something…”
Julia Walked off. Everyone went back to watching television.
*Julia’s POV*
Ugh, I can’t believe nick had a snake in his bunk.
*Told you I made dinner plans…*
“Hello?”
“Heyyy” It’s Cameron. He sounds kind of nervous.
“Hey baby, what’s wrong?”
“umm, well Julia, I think we should take a little break…”
“WHAT!!?? Why?”
“Well, we just see so much of each other and its not really working out.”
There was a long pause.
“What’s her name?”
“Who…?
“you know what I’m talking about. The girl you met, probably at the mall or somewhere.”
“Jessica and she is soooo hot!”
“Whatever,…”
I hung up on him. I mean, how could he do this to me!? I felt a tear slide down my face. I really liked him. Ugh, breakdown time, dang it. I walked into the main room. And saw everyone watching a football game.
“*sniff* Brandi…”
Everyone looked up at me. Brandi jumped up and ran to me. We are so close that she already knew what happened. Some telepathic thing we have going on. She gave me a hug and I broke down in her arms. In front of all of them. I was so embarrassed. They all gave me a confused but sympathetic look, except for Nick. Instead, Nick gave me this sorrowful look, like he also knew what happened.
Brandi took me back to the bunks and I told her everything that he said. We just talked forever until it was time to get ready for the concert…
