Later that night as I was just finishing up my homework, the phone rang.

"Hello?" I said into the phone

"Hey Anna, it is Nick." Nick said

"Oh! Hey Nick. Whats up." I asked

"Not much. I was wondering if you wanted to go get ice cream with me in about half an hour." He said into the phone.

"Really? That would be great, I will see you in half an hour." I said.

"Ok, cant wait." He said

I rushed to the bathroom and brushed my hair and redid my makeup. Then I headed out the door to the bus. Once I got to the house I knocked on the door. Kevin opened it this time though.

"Hey Anna, come on in." Kevin said.

I walked in, Nick was waiting next to the couch in the living room for me.

"Anna! Are you ready to go?" Nick said smiling

"Ya."

We both headed out the door and down the street. We stopped at a small ice cream shop. We ordered our ice cream then sat down.

" So whats up?" I asked

" You are never going to believe what just happened." Nick said

"What?" I asked

" We might ger signed to Colombia Records!" Nick exclaimed

" GET OUT! That is so cool." I said

" They want us to write some more songs then come to the studio in 2 weeks." Nick said

"Nick that is great!" I said

We both chatted happily, until it started to get dark. Then Nick and I headed home. He offered to take the bus home with me but I said I would be fine.  By the time I got home I was on cloud nine. Wow! How could my life suddenly go from miserable to extremly happy. I ran to my room and plopped down on my bed awaiting a new day.

The next day at school Nick came over to me.

"Hey Anna, wanna come over after school and hear our new song?" Nick asked.

"You already have one?" I asked

"Ya I was up all night, I am whooped. But now worrys I got a Red Bull." He said smiling.

I laughed then said I would come over. As soon as school got out I went to Nick's locker. He agreed to give me a ride, Kevin driving. We soon got to the house and Nick lead me to the game room and picked up his acoustic guitar and took a seat on the couch. Then he started playing.

Her voice is echoed in my mind

I count the days till she is mine

cant tell my friends cause they will laugh

i love a girl from senior class

I daydream through my freshman math

while she fills out her college apps

I'll show her a world where we belong but

she'll have to drive us to the prom

Thats what I go to school for even though it is a real bore

you can call me crazy but she is so amazing.....

Nick's voice was smooth and beautiful. He hasnt grown into it yet but it is still amazing.

"Nick...wow" I said

"You like it?" He asked

"Are you insane, that was awesome." I said

"Thanks!" Nick said smiling, and showing his teeth.

2 weeks later the Jonas Brothers got signed to Columbia Records. I could say it may have been the worst day of my life when my best friends got ripped away from me.

"Umm hey Anna." Nick said

Hey Nick." I said

"Umm i have to tell you something." Nick said

"What.," I asked

"We got signed to Columbia Records and we are going out to California for a while." He said

"...are you leaving?" I asked

Nick couldnt look me in the eyes to tell me that they were leaving.

"I have to go now...bye Anna." Nick said

"Nic-k" I said with tears rolling down my face.

Nick was my only friend and I found myself falling for him. Now he told me he was leaving. I couldnt handle it. I ran home and cried for 8 hours.

2 years later......................................................................................................................................................

Ever since Nick left I tried to forget them, but the Jonas Brothers were EVERYWHERE now a days. I had made a friend though after they left. Her name is Heather, she is 18. She loves the Jonas Brothers, especially Kevin. But Heather doesnt talk about them around me because it is  a touchy subject.

One day Heather came running over to my house.

"ANNA!" Screamed Heather.

"What?" I asked the screaming Heather.

"Guess what I got!!!!" Heather said jumping up and down.

"What?" I asked again

" Tickets to the Jonas Brothers concert in downtown NJ." She screamed

"Cool, have fun." i said

"No ur coming with me." She said

"No." I said

"Why not????" She asked

" I dont wanna." I replied

" Anna, get over it, they had to move. This is your chance to see Nick again.

I thought about how much I missed Nick.....

"Heather, how can I go see him after that though." I replied grimly

"Anna, you have to see Nick, I bet you anything his misses you too." Heather said

"Heather do you even get it. He may not even remember me. Plus what makes you think he wants to see me." I asked

"Ok look, I think you need to go see Nick because I know how much you love him. Dont even try to deny it. So I am asking you Anna, will you come with me?" Heather asked

"Well.......ok" I said

"OMJ! YES!" Heather said hugging me and saying a million thank yous.

It was the day of the concert. Heather and I were skipping school to go to the concert early. Heather and I arrived at the concert hall. There were five buses. A line of girls wrapped around the building to the entrance of the concert hall.

"I wonder where they are...." I said quietly to myself.

"Anna dont worry I will find a way to get to them." Heather said

I followed Heather passed all the girls to the back of the buliding. As we came around the bend I looked up into the window. There he sat, Nick was playing the piano in the window. None of the other girls saw him.

"Heather look." I said being careful not to alarm the others.

"Anna, its him!" Heather said

Heather looked around and spotted a door.

"Heather you arent thinking of sneaking in are you?" I asked her.

"Just follow me, you want to see Nick right?" She asked

I followed Heather. She threw a rock across the street and hit a trash can. The security guard looked away for a moment. Then quickly we snuck in. There was two doors, one we assumed went to the concert hall. The other went upstairs. We both opened the door and went upstairs. At the top of the staircase we went down a hall to where we heards the music playing. Then slowly I opened the door and walked in. Then Nick heard me, stopped playing and turned around.

"Anna?" He asked

"Nick." I said back.

"Anna!" Nick said

He ran over to me and gave me the biggest hug ever.

"I missed you girl." He said

"You dont even know the half of it." I said

"Look Anna, I am sorry." He said

"I know, and you know what....I survived. Look where I am." I said

Nick looked at me. He noticed that I had curly dark brown hair falling to my shoulders, I had grown a little taller, and more beautiful. I noticed in Nick that he still had his cute boyish face, but he matured a lot. He also had some killer muscles.

"How have you been Anna, you look great." Nick said

" I got a friend, Heather you can come in." I said beckoning Heather.

"Hi" Heather said to Nick

"She is a big fan, by the way where is Kevin?" I asked Nick

"Down the hall to the right." He said.

Heather said thanks and ran out the door to find Kevin.

"Anything new with you?" I asked

" Ya alot. First off I got diagnosed with Dibetes a year ago, and I have been missing you more than anything." Nick said looking me in the eyes.

"Nick, I didnt even know, I am so sorry." I said

"I know, I am ok though, now you are here with me and that is all I could ask for. Anna I cant lose you again, please I know this sounds drastic, but will you come on tour with us?" Nick said

"Nick, wow." I said

"I know its stupid" He said looking down

"No, I want to come. I dont want to lose you again either, but I can only come if Heather can come." I said

"Deal." Nick said smiling.

He hugged me once more before going to get ready for the show. Heather then came back into the room.

"Here Anna, you are going to need this." She said tossing me a VIP pass.

"Thanks, did you get to meet Kevin?" i asked

"Ya..."She said gazing off.

"Heather, how would you feel about going on tour with the Jonas Brothers?" I asked Heather

"....."She was speechless

Suddenly Heather started screaming and jumping up and down.

"OF COURSE ANNA!" She screamed

" Ok its settled, we are going on tour. My parents dont care, and you are 18 so we are set." i said smiling.

We looked at our watches and noticed it was time for the concert. We rushed out to our seats just as they came on. We screamed our hearts out. Later after the concert we headed backstage.

"Hey Nick, awesome show." I said

"Thanks, so I talked to your parents. We already sent someone to get your stuff." Nick said smiling.

"Thanks Nick, this means the world to us."I said

Nick and I had grown really close since I went on tour with them. We had become eachothers best friends. Then one day I walked in while Nick was working on a new song.

As I was leaning against the door listening, someone opened the door and I fell into Nick's arms.

"Nick-" I said looking into his deep brown eyes.

"Anna." He said looking down into my eyes.

We just looked at eachother for awhile in silence. Then just as I was leaning into Nick, Joe walked into the room.

"Woah, am I interupting anything?" Joe said backing out.

I felt a rush of warmth run up my spine into my cheeks. Nick didnt move, he just held me tighter. I rested my head on his chest, breathing in his musky comforting scent. I wanted it to last forever, in his arms. But I knew it had to end eventually. Nick slowly pulled away. I felt so cold, I wanted to go back to his warmth and love.

While Nick was at his concert I lay curled up in a ball on the hotel bed, as I cried myself to sleep. Not because I was sad, but because I wanted him, more than anything. It wasnt like I hadnt thought about telling him. I didnt want to ruin what we had already. I dont think my heart could handle him leaving again. Soon I found myself being shaken.

"ANNA! Wake up Anna! Please!" Heather screamed shaking me.

"What, Heather, whats wrong." I asked slowly sitting up.

"Nick- he is in the hospital." Heather said tears rolling down her face.

"No- God no. Please!" I said jumping out of bed and running to the door. I ran down the stairs, tears streaming down my face.  Once I made it outside I flagged down a cab. I glanced at my watch 12:55 P.M. Heather was right behind me and jumped into the cab. We sat together, crying. The the cab pulled up to the hospital. I jumped out and ran through the doors to the front desk.

"Nick Jonas." I said out of breath and crying.

"Room 213." The woman said with a sad look on her face.

I flew upstairs and down the hall to room 213. I turned into the room. Joe and Kevin were sitting next to the bed where Nick lay with his eyes shut. Denise stood next to her husband. I ran over to Nick.

"Whats going on?" I cried out

"Anna, calm down." Denise said walking over to me.

"Nick collapsed on stage at the concert because he forgot to wear his Omnipod today. He is in a coma. The doctors are still running some tests." She said holding back tears.

I hugged her and stayed there crying on her shoulder, then surprisingly she cried with me. I asked if I could see Nick for a moment. They all said it was fine and went to the hospital kitchen for some coffee.

I sat down in a stool next to Nick.

"Look Nick I know you can hear me in there. I dont know what has come over me,  but now is the only time I think I can say this to you. I love you Nick. More than you know it. I dont ever want anything to happen to you. Nick I love you, please wake up." I said holding my tears. Then a miracle happened, he started to move.

"Nick?" I asked. Then I leaned down and gently kissed him on his lips. Suddenly his heart montitor sped up, and Nick slowly opened his eyes.

"Anna." Nick said quietly

I leaned down and kissed him again. I hugged him and let my tears come out. he lifted his arms and put them around me, holding me as I held him.

Soon everyone came back in. They saw Nick and I curled up together, the IV's still attached to Nick. We both slept peacefully, barly moving. Everyone saw Nick and I were in good hands so everyone went back to the hotel to get some sleep.

I woke up the next morning still in the same clothes from the previous night. I rolled slightly and looked over to my right to see Nick, who was awake and looking at me.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey." He said

"Did you hear everything I told you?" I asked

"Ya, I love you too." He said wrapping his arms around me.

Denise and Kevin Sr. came in and brought some breakfast from a nearby cafe.

"Here honey, you must be famished." She said handing me a bagel.

" Oh thanks!" I said smiling and taking a huge bite out of the side of the bagel.

Soon Kevin, Joe, Frankie, and Heather came.

" I am so glad you are doing better bro." Joe said smiling at Nick and I.

"Me too." Nick said looking at me.

I told Nick I was going to go back to the hotel for a bit and take a nice long shower, and get some fresh clothes on.

Once I got back to the hotel I went directly to the shower and turned the water to hot. I thought about the things that happened in the past 24 hours. I smiled and started singing Underdog. I stepped out of the shower and got dressed in some cute skinny-flare jeans with a pink and red polka dot tee-shirt, with some white flip flops. Then I grabbed a cab back to the hospital.

When I got there Denise was down at the check in table.

"Hey Denise." I said

"Hey, I am checking Nick out if you want to go help him get his stuff." She said.

"Ya of course!" I said turning around and heading upstairs.

By the time I got to the room Nick was up and dressed.

"Hey!" I said running over and hugging him.

"Hey Anna. They are making me go out to the door in a wheel chair." He said making a cute pouty face.

"Oh, wanna pop some wheelies?" I asked laughing.

" Sure!" He said

I grabbed a wheelchair and Nick sat down in it. Then I started wheeling him really fast down the hall. We both started cracking up at all the patients and nurses watching us. We finally got outside of the hospital.

" Hey Anna, do you want to go hang out for a little while? I need to do something after that bad stay in the hospital." He asked

" Totally." I said.

Nick took my hand and we walked down the street looking for a place to go. Then we found a little cafe. We stopped by and found a little table in the back. We grabbed a coffee and started talking.

"So Anna, how long have you felt like this about me?" Nick asked

" Ever since you started coming to my school 2 years back." I admitted.

"Me too." He told me

" Really? Why me though?" I asked

"I dont know, I know that you are just the one..." He said.

Then he leaned in and gave me a kiss. Suddenly out of nowhere comes the paparazzi.

"Oh crap." Nick said.

"Nick hide, run do something." I said trying to cover my face.

Nick grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the coffee shop. We ran down the street and flagged a cab. We had it take us back to the hotel. Then we ran up to our rooms.
Heather and Kevin were sitting on the couch in a deep conversation, but looked up to see us running in breathless.

"What happened?" Kevin asked.

"Paparazzi." Nick and I said at the same time, then started laughing.

Nick and I realized we were hungry so we walked to the kitchen and looked in the fridge. There was some stuff to make spaghetti so we took it out and started dinner. Nick was in charge of the noodles and I was on the sauce. I popped the lid and poured some sauce into a pan and turned to help Nick get the water started. Once the noodles were cooked we grabbed two bowls and dished up.

"Yum!" Nick said eating and getting sauce all over his face.

"Nick. What are we going to do about the paparazzi?" I asked wiping the sauce from his face.

"I dont know, they got some good pictures of us. I already know that people are going to know we are dating. " He said

"Who said we were dating?" I asked

" Oh- umm you know..." Nick said turning bright red.

" I am just kidding" I said laughing.

Nick smiled. We cleaned up our dishes and Nick decided he should get back to his room since they have a concert tommorow. We hugged goodnight. Then I headed off to bed, changing into my I Heart Nick Jonas Tee-shirt and pajama bottoms.

The next morning I got up early and showered. Then I got a call from Nick.

"Goodmorning Anna." He said

"Morning Nick." I said back.

"Wanna come over for breakfast?" He asked

"Ya be over in a minute." I said

I grabbed my sweatshirt then woke up Heather and headed to thier room. When I got there Denise was in the kitchen cooking, it smelled of bacon and eggs, yum. Nick greeted me and we sat down for breakfast. After breakfast Nick and I decided to go downstairs to check the paper for our pictures.

When we got to the lobby we picked up a copy and of course there we were on the front page, kissing, for the WHOLE world to see. Not to mention now I will probably get tackled by all of the Nick Jonas fans. Wow we were in a mess.

Nick looked at the paper for a minute. Then something surprising happened, Nick looked up at me and smiled, teeth and all.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"Ya." He said still smiling

"Ummm, then why are you so happy that we are plastered on the cover?" I asked

"Because I am with you." Nick said looking at me.

"Aww, thanks." I said.

I leaned up in to kiss him, but stopped to hear a loud scream.

"What was that??" I asked looking at Nick.

"Umm, I think it was her." He said pointing at a girl who was running towards us.

"NO! I thought it was a fake!" The girls said in tears.

"What?" I asked the girl.

"You cant be with him. " The girl said glaring at me.

"What are you talking about." I asked

"Uh-oh." Nick said.

"Nick, who is this." The girl said turning to Nick.

"Oh boy. Lauren, this is Anna." Nick said looking down.

"Nick, I demand to know why you are with her." Lauren said looking at Nick.

"Ya, Lauren, ummm we are ......dating." Nick said.

"WHAT!" She screamed. " I come back to see how you were doing and this is how you treat me?" Lauren said to Nick.

"Nick what is she talking about?" I asked.

"Anna, this isnt what you thin-" Nick cut off as Lauren pulled Nick in and kissed him.

"Nick..."I said my eyes tearing up. " I thought you-, why?" I said holding back tears.

"Anna!" Nick called after me as I ran upstairs.

I bolted through the lobby and up three flights of stairs to my bedroom. I slammed the door and jumped on my bed, crying harder than ever before. Heather walked into the room rushing over to my bed.

"Anna! Whats wrong??" Heather asked

"Nic- kiss...Lauren." I cryed out.

Heather sat with me until I finished cyring.

"I want to go." I said

"What? Why?" Heather asked

"Nick, I thought I had a chance.. I was wrong. I am booking a flight for tommorow. You can stay if you want, but I am leaving." I said almost crying again.

"Anna, I would do anything for you, and if you really want to leave I will leave too." She said.

"Thanks Heather." I said

I booked a flight for seven-o-clock the following morning. Heather and I spent the rest of the evening packing. I slept restlessly, my heart telling me not to go, but I had to. Our cab came at six-thirty. Once we arrived at the airport and went through security, we headed for the plane. We finally got to the loading station, and I had to restrain myself from crying. Then the flight attendent called final boarding call.

"ANNA!" Someone yelled from behind me.

I turned around to see Nick racing after me. His eyes were red and puffy, like he had been crying.

"Please dont go." He yelled

I ran to Nick as he embraced me. Then he kissed me, longer than ever before. Then I cryed in his arms like a child. He held me, and cryed on my shoulder.

"Anna, I am sorry." He said

"No, I am sorry, I should have talked to you." I said

"No, Ann, I can explain." Nick said

"Its ok, I trust you." I said putting my face on his chest and wrapping my arms around his waist.
