What is true love? What is love?

 Can someone like me really find true love?

Questions.

That’s what I ever think of.

I view the world as nothing but a bunch of questions. What will happen if I take a chance at love? I always thought that love was just a silly thing

People never take love lightly, why should they?

Love is nothing but a 4 letter word. Yet it can hold so much meaning, so much emotion. Its not something that you can say just out of the blue. You have to wait for that right moment.

I waited and I waited some more. Turns out his love was just a lie.

She sits there all alone, the only thing that seems to draw her attention is a single note. Just a simple piece of paper, even this piece of paper can cause the tears to fall down her face. That can cause her world to come down all around her.

The room was quite other that the occasional sob that would pass her lips, the same lips that had been his once. The same lips that had spoken such sweet meaning full things to him.

She now had no one. No one to run to, no one to comfort her.

Her mind was running in circles trying to figure everything out.

-Flash back-

They were sitting on a blanket watching the sunset. The air was cool but she couldn’t tell. His arms wrapped around her, keeping her warm. They just stayed like that in silence.

He had been the one to break it though.

“I love you”

Those were his only words. She was taken back a little. Even he knew that her life wasn’t an easy one and those three simple words can cause a lot of pain.

“I…I love you to” He smiled and claimed her lips with his

They had been together for two years. Two years of memories. Just a year ago marked the first use of those simple words. Since then they used them often, and every time her heart filled with joy. For once her life was starting to look up. For once someone love her for her.

When she thought she couldn’t get any happier. He came home and with him he brought a small white box. Inside it was a promise ring saying ‘I will always love you, for you’

She was so happy, she cried and kissed him. The glint in his eyes was bright. It was clear that he was just about as happy as she was.  

Taking a look back at how things were, you would have never thought that she would be sitting all alone in the living room of her apartment.

-flashback-

She had just finished up un packing the food. And was now getting ready to go change. Her boyfriend was upstairs when his phone went off. She walked over to it and saw the ‘new text message’ curious she opened and read it.

‘cant wait for tonight baby’

Shock formed on her face

Now here she was 3 months later, at first she didn’t want to believe it. Sure someone sent a text to him, but he was a celebrity. Maybe someone had gotten his number. After all no one knew about them. Press reasons. But as time went on, the sweet words became less. The nights became later, it got to the point where she couldn’t stay up because she had to work the next morning.

But tonight was different. Tonight she was leaving. Looking at the note in front of her she re-read it again

‘Hey baby, I am going to take you out tonight I’ll be over later when ‘she’ goes to bed. Dress up.’

She had found it folded up and in his jeans. Must have forgot to give it to her.

The sound of keys filled the hallway from outside the door. A little bit longer and the figure was inside. The lights were off so he couldn’t see her. He moved to set his stuff down and made his way to the bedroom.

“Where were you?” She asked, The person froze.

“Hey baby, why are you up so late? Don’t you have work tomorrow?” He asked turning on a light. His eyes widened when he saw the note and her tear stained face.

She didn’t act like she thought she would. All she did was stand up grab her keys since her bags were already in her car. And walk to him. Stopping just in front of him she took off the promise ring and gave it back to him. She walked to the door, she turned to face him saying the last words.

“Your love is a lie”
