~Jenna's POV~

Nick and I walked up to his room that night knowing that what was coming in the morning wouldn't be good.Kevin had called Joe telling him that he wanted him to come over in the morning and Joe said that he would be there.I watched Nick as he pulled his shoes and shirt off and then layed down in the bed not saying a word.I slowly changed into my pajamas before I walked over and sat down next to him,he looked up at me and I slowly leaned down and kissed him trying to get his mind off of his brother.He slowly sat up and let me lay back on my back so that I wasn't hurting my stomach as he slowly deepend the kiss placing his hand on my stomach gently as he did that the baby slowly started to kick causing me to start laughing as Nick pulled away.

"Looks like someone doesn't like you kissing their mommy."I said softly causing Nick to smile and shake his head.

"Well they're just going to have to get used to it."He said as he leaned down kissing me once again.

~Nick's POV~

I woke up the next morning frowning a little when I realized that today was the day we would be finding out what was going on with Joe.I looked over at Jenna and slowly leaned over kissing her on the lips,her eyes slowly fluttered open and she smiled up at me.

"Morning beautiful."I said softly.

"Morning handsome."She whispered as she sat up a little and kissed me again.

I slowly got up out of the bed and went to take a shower.

When we had both gotten dressed we headed down the stairs to eat breakfast.After breakfast Kevin had us all sit in the living room because Joe would be coming in at any minute.

Jenna and I sat down on the couch when we heard a car door shut.Kevin hid in the kitchen somewhere and Lizz sat down next to me on the couch as Joe came walking through the back door.

"What?"He asked when he got to the living room.

"You know what you did."Lizz said showing him the money.

"No you don't know what you've done."Joe said shaking his head as he started to turn"Where's Kevin."

Before anyone could say anything Kevin came out of the kitchen and punched Joe in the face,Jenna gasped and I reached over taking her hand.

"What are you hiding Joe?"Kevin asked as he held him down on the ground"I swear if I find out you had anything to do with what happened to mom I'm going to kill you right here."

"No Kevin no."Crystal said coming from upstairs.

"Lizz is going to ask you a few questions and if we find out you've been lying it's over."Kevin said standing up.

"We know you've been lying about your business and the fact that you got mixed up with some gangsters."Lizz said shaking her head and I knew she was trying hard not to cry.

"Now hold on a minute..."Joe started to get up.

"Stay down!"Kevin yelled kicking him and causing Jenna to jump again.

"You think I had something to do with mom getting killed?"Joe asked as he looked at the two of them in shock.

"You just got a check for four hundred thousand that you just so happened to forget to mention from mom's life insurance."Lizz said angrily as she looked at him.

"She took out the policy for Amelia man I didn't have anything to do with that come on."Joe said trying to defend himself.

"You made the payments."I blurted out starting to get angry with him myself.

"Good timing Joe,just when it seems that all is lost with you mom gets shot and you win the lottery."Kevin yelled as he bent down to Joe's level.

"Your tripping because I made insurance payments?"Joe said yelled as he got up off the ground"I paid all her bills."

He pushed Lizz back and then punched Kevin in the face,I was going to jump up but Jenna held me back.

"And where were you huh?"Joe asked shaking his head"How many years did I have to take car of her myself with ya'll doing nothing and your going to tell me I killed her?"

"So why would you pay off a killer like Sweet?"Lizz asked as she got in Joe's face"And what the heck did he do for you?"

"What did he do for me....he killed my life!"Joe yelled shaking his head"I put everything into that project trying to make something of myself,the Vics goons tried to come and get a piece."

"You paid him Joe."Kevin said.

"No I didn't pay him man that's how he shut me down."Joe said.

"Wait I thought the city cut you down."I said.

"Douglas?Come on Nick this is New Jersey."Joe said as he turned to me and then turned to the others"Sweet owns douglas he isn't anything but a gangster in a suit."

I heard a knock on the door and I glanced at Jenna before I slowly got up and went to answer the door.When I opened the door someone dressed in a hoodie was walking away flipping me off as he bent down to the snow.

"Hey man I will kick your......"I was cut off by a snowball hitting my face,I quicklt ran out the door grabbing snow as I went after the guy.

~Jenna's POV~

I watched Nick as he walked off and then I turned back to the guys as they argued with each other.

"Wait a minute."Kevin said looking at the couch and then towards the door"Nick!"
Before I could do anything he was running for the door as a gun shot went off.

"Nick!"I screamed getting up as fast as I could and heading for the door.

"Nick!"Kevin yelled again as he grabbed a gun and headed out the door.

The next thing I know I'm hearing a loud gun shot and then several others as Nick cried out,Kevin and Lizz come running back into the house and Kevin grabs ahold of me as we fall to the ground me hitting my stomach.The next thing I know bullets are wixxing by my head as I lay there on the ground Kevin over me.

"Kevin!"I hear Nick yell and I can fill tears coming to my eyes.

"Nick!"Kevin yells back.

"Kevin!"Nick yells again.

"Nick!"I yell as a sharp pain goes through my stomach and I knew that I was in labor as tears started to fall down my face.

"Crystal give me the gun."I could hear Lizz say before both her and Kevin got up and started to shoot out the window.

I slowly tried to get up off the ground knowing that I had to get to Nick I heard one last gun shot go off as I slowly stood up and walked towards the door where I could see everyone over Nick.

"No."I whispered as I slowly walked down the steps falling into the snow as another sharp pain went through my stomach.I slowly crawled over to where everyone was with Nick.I felt the tears fall faster down my face as Nick looked at me pain in his eyes.

"Jenna."He whispered as I got next to him taking his hand.

"Shhh Nick."I said as the tears fell.

"N..o.....Jenna....I...need...you..to....know....that ...I.....love....you."He said as he coughed"Tell...the...baby...that...I..love...him..too."

"Nick please don't leave me."I said my voice cracking as I shook my head.

"Kevin...take...care..of..her...for...me..."Nick said as he glanced at Kevin and coughed again.

"I promise."Kevin said tears falling down his face as he nodded his head.

Nick looked at me with those eyes and I knew what he wanted me to do.I slowly leaned down and kissed him and as I pulled away his arm fell to his side.

"No."I said shaking my head as the tears fell"No."
