So the awesome Ashley is convinced that her writing is like bad and everyone else's is good. She's like crazy or something i mean her writing rocks and if you agree post a little comment at the end of this one shot i wrote about her quitting. so here it is
Ashley…Quitting… We have to stop her!
Wide brown eyes stared at the screen before them, had she really just posted that she was never going to write again? It didn’t seem possible her words were amazing and she made every situation she wrote about seem real. Without a second thought slim tan fingers tapped on a phone jumping in pure shock. It took three tries before the number was typed in correct and then it was a waiting game.
“Hey! What’s up,” a female voice asks from the other side of the phone?
“Ashley… Quitting… We have to stop her,” this voice was husky and full of sorrow.
“Okay full sentences maybe,” the other voice laughs.
“Mel Ashley says she is quitting writing! She is quitting writing all of her glorious work! We have to stop her!”
“She’s WHAT!”
“I know!!!”
“What are we going to do Stephani,” Melissa’s normally calm voice asks?
“I don’t know Mel! We need reinforcements though let’s get Crystal and Ren! One of them will know what to do,” Stephani says as her hand shakes.
The two girls say quick goodbyes and hurry to do just that. They all agree to meet later that day in Stephani’s apartment to figure out how to get Ashley writing again.
“We could tell her if she doesn’t write she’ll loose all her hair,” Crystal says with a evil grin.
“Crys no suggesting we shave her bald… Ren you got an idea,” Melissa asks?
“Hum… We could go and bug her at college,” Ren replies looking at the lap top in her hands.
“DUDE! I GOT IT,” Stephani screams causing all three of the other girls to jump.
“Got what Steph,” Ren asks looking at her curiously?
“The perfect idea… Ren look up where the next Jonas concert is we have work to do,” Stephani smiles running out of the room.
“Do I want to know your plan,” Melissa yells.
“Just get me a binder, and make sure you Jonasify it will you,” Stephani screams in return from her office.
The three other girls shrug and do as Stephani …well yelled at them to do… Soon they realize exactly what Stephani’s plan was, as she walked out with sheets and sheets of colorful paper. Finally satisfied with her work Stephani turns to Ren waiting for where the boys were going to be next.
“Next show that we could even possibly go to would be two days in LA. How do you expect us to get there for the show though,” Ren asks?
“With these,” Stephani replies holding up multiple credit cards.
She quickly goes online and finds four tickets to LA on the first flight flying out, which was leaving in three hours. So after marathon packing the girls pile into Ren’s Jeep and drive to the airport barely making it in time for their flight.
Ren looks at Melissa who is sitting next to her and sighs, “I can’t believe we are flying to LA for no reason.”
“There is a reason Ren! We are going to meet the Jonas Brothers and show them Ashley’s awesome writing and convince them to make a video and tell her not to stop writing cause she is seriously beast at it,” Stephani says kneeling in her seat and looking at her friend.
“Okay Stephani whatever you say. I mean it’s a good plan but what makes you think that we’ll run into the Jonas Brothers while we are in LA and where are we gonna stay,” Ren asks?
“Hotel I booked us a suite and cause we all know that Mel and I are the luckiest people in the world,” Stephani replies turning back in her seat.
“Whatever you say,” Ren mummers lying her head back on the seat.
The next day was spent trying to find the Jonas Brothers every where they went, including Limited Too. But they had no luck finding the guys anywhere they went. Then they spent the day after trying to find the boys, or trying to find tickets to their concert that night. Then it happens Melissa dials the number of a local radio station, wanting to request When you look me in the eyes and she gets asked a question about the adorable Nicholas Jerry Jonas.
“Nick was diagnosed with something about two years ago. What was he diagnosed with?”
“Diabetes,” Melissa answers matter so factly.
“You’re correct you just won four tickets to the Jonas Brothers concert tonight and backstage passes!”
The four girls scream and as soon as they give their names and Melissa hangs up Stephani grins widely.
“I told you we were the luckiest people in the world.”
They get the tickets and head to the concert excited about meeting the boys and yet also trying to figure out the best time to mention Ashley and get them to read her stuff and just tell her how awesome she was. The concert was amazing, and the four girls were very hyper by the time they got backstage. But they all calmed down considerably remembering the real reason they were there. The three boys that walked in were stunning, but they expected it and they willingly hugged them all before sitting. After a few awkward minutes Stephani blurts out their reasoning for being there. The boys all look shocked and then nod taking the binder from Stephani hands. They have all the same reactions the girls did when they first read it. They laughed, they cried, they awed and they smiled. By the time they finished looking at the whole binder the three boys were in awe and wondering where this amazing writer was.
“She’s at college. She doesn’t know we came here. We weren’t even sure if we would meet you guys while we were here but Stephani and Melissa are the luckiest people in the world and Mel won us our tickets and passes on the radio,” Crystal smiles.
The boys look shocked and then they come up with a plan of their own about how to convince her to continue writing, cause she was good at it. Two days later a group of girls knock on the door of a familiar friend. Ashley, the girl they were trying to get to write so badly, pulled the door open shocked. She gave each and every one of them hugs before asking the crucial question.
“What are you doing here?”
“We wanted to tell you just how much you work means to us and that you shouldn’t stop writing because despite what you say you are amazing. And we figured you might not listen to just us. Since I tried to convince you for hours to keep writing. So we got a little help,” Stephani smiles.
Ren motions around the corner and what Ashley spots shocks her. All three of the Jonas Brothers were standing right in front of her a binder in Nick’s hands and smiles on their faces.
“These are all amazing Ashley. Why would you consider stifling you talent? Seriously keep writing,” Nick tells her causing Ashley to blush.
“He’s right you are an amazing and inspiring writer and I’m sure you make dozens of girls days with your stories. So keep it up we like our fans to be happy,” Kevin smiles.
“Plus I need to know what happens between me and you in Laws of Attraction. Seriously Ashley are we gonna get married and have kids you have to tell me I’m gonna keep up with this cause I want to know,” Joe smiles down at her causing her to blush again.
“Okay…. Okay you win I’ll keep writing. And Joe if you want to know you’ll have to read and comment on JonasBrothersFan.com cause if you don’t then you’ll never know,” Ashley smiles.
“Yes! This is what happens when Ashley tries to quit! We get the Jonas Brothers to fly with us to her and convince her to write some more! Okay now we need numbers in cause she tries to do it again cause I am not going to fly across the country next time,” Stephani says getting laughs from everyone.
As Joe supplies her with numbers and she does the same Ashley smiles. Because she knows if she ever thinks of quitting again, she has four best friends and three inspiring boys to get her back on track, and in the end that’s all she needs.
