~Chapter 1~
"Don't leave" is what he said. I wasen't exactly paying attention, it seemed like it was all in my mind. Like my conscience calling out to me or something. Something like that... It didn't occur to me that it was an actually person... trying to stop me. "Excuse me?...." I muttered, not bothering to turn around. "Don't do it.... it's stupid. Just don't" a deep voice persisted. I snorted and rolled my eyes. "Like you care.." I mumbled, shuffling my feet. I turned slightly, only catching a glimpse of his eyes. A warm cinnamon brown. I quickly turned away. Don't divert your gaze, don't turn away now.... "Please" I heard him plead. I shook my head. "You don't even know me!" I shouted, bitterly. "Well... I never will if you do this" he added, holding out his hand. His hand came closer, drifting towards me. I stared at it. His hand found mine and I cringed, confused by his soft touch... I looked back up into his eyes and nodded. He tried to pull me towards him... but I lost my grip and fell over the edge of the building. So technically my mission was accomplished, I committed suicide. Just not at the right time.
