    "You can take care of yourself a few weeks can't you? I'm off to London to shoot my new movie."
    Those were the first words she spoke to me when I walked through the door. The fact is I knew alot about the movie bussiness; probabley as much as her. It didn't take a few weeks to shoot a movie; more like a few months.
    "Yeah, I'll be fine." I wasn't going to tell her about the boat; I knew she would be gone by tommarrow.
    "Here." she said handing me a card - a credit card. I smiled so widley I though I might die. A credit card. I know what you're thinking. "she probabley already gets everything she wants." No, I don't. I ask my parent for something, they ask me what I need it for and If I get a good enough excuse they will let. It's not that they don't have the money to buy me everything I could possibley dream of; they just are too lazy and they are supposibley 'teaching me the value of money' which I think was a bunch of crap because they both grew up in rich families. They wouldn't know the value of a dollar if it hit them over the head.
    "Buy what you need; This is a test Malou, a test to see if you can live without buying unnessacery things. I wanna see if you can live by yourself." This was such a big joke that I had to cover my mouth to sheld the laughter exacaping it. She had a maid for christ's sake; was that a 'nessacery thing' No it wasn't. The giant house she is living in isn't, the pool in the backyard isn't, the 33 inch flat screen tv's in every room isn't. Nothing in this house is 'absolutley nessacary' She's just trying to get me to not spend every last drop of her money; which is pretty impossible considering she's has way too much already and is going to be getting checks from my father. Which I'm sure he linked to the credit card I just got.
    "Yeah okay mom." Ben our butler came over.
    "Do you need these taken to your room, Malou?" I nodded at Bedn he was only about 26  and was extremly cute. I'm sure that's why he was hired. Among other reasons of course.
    "Remma will make you dinner tonight; unless you would like to go out with your friends." Remma was our maid/cook, before I met Sammy, Brandi, and Crystal. Ben and Remma were the only friends I had; Ben started out when he was 18; he had been working here 8 years and Remma has worked here, well sense forever. She was about 58 and was litraly the nicest woman in the world.
    "Okay mom." I said walking to the kitchen. I smiled at Remma who was standing sweeping the floor with a wooden broom.
    "Malou!" she screeched, when she saw me. Giving me a big hug. She smelled (like always) of coffee and brownies. She often would make me brownies when I got home from my dad's estate.
    "I'm making you brownies! How come you never call me to tell me your coming home? So I can have the brownies when you get home!" Brownies started a few years ago; when my homecomings to LA were a mess, I was crying and she made me her famous brownies. The tears got bigger and now she always made me brownies.
    "No, No. That's okay, I think I'm just going to get ready for my-" I whispered. "boat trip." She smiled. She for some reason always incouraged me to do fun things; "if you have the money" She would often tell me. "You might as well have enough adventure so all the average people in the world have something to be jealous about, other than the money."
    "Good for you, get out of your mommy's shell. Now who are we going with? Boys? Are they cute atleast? Nice? I don't want to have to pick you up at jail."
    "Yeah Remma, their nice. I'm going with Sammy, Brandi, and Crystal. Also with the Jonas Brothers." she smiled.
    "Really? You know while you were gone they were on Ellen. They were offally polite, you make sure you bring them to me and Benjy before you go around dating one of them alright?" I smiled.
    "I doubt I will date them Remma; but I'll bring them if I do." When my mom was away or here Remma and Ben(jy) were more of parents then my real mom; or espicially my dad. We would go out places. Even when it was a bad time because the paperazzi would be out alot. Everyone knew though; I mean everyone in this world knew they weren't exactley the best parents. That was okay with me though, I had my best friends, and Remma and Ben. That was all I needed.
