Part LX (60…I think…)
Mia’s POV
I climbed into my bed, nearly in tears from what Joe picked as my nick name. In an amazing way, of course. Not like, I’m sad he’s calling me the love of his life!! No, how could a girl be sad about that?
Amore Della Mia Vita. It was beautiful.
Perfect and beautiful
And what had I picked for him? Pickle toes. Oh well, he liked it….I think…and I liked it. I thought it was cute.
~The next morning~
“Morning honey” Mom said as I came down the stairs and into the kitchen.
“Morning.” I yawned.
“Off to New York today, huh?” Dad asked.
I nodded. “I’m excited”
“You’ll have tons of fun” Mom told me
“I know I will. I really can’t wait” I said. “Oh, which reminds me, I’m going to lunch with Joe and Frankie today, so I’m probably just going to bring my suitcase with me when Joe picks me up and go home with him and then to the airport. It just makes more sense than running home, ya know?”
“That’s fine Mia.” Dad told me.
“Okay! Great!” I said, giving him a hug.
“Are you packed?” Mom asked
I nodded. “I packed while I was talking to Joe on the phone last night”
“Good” Mom said.
“Mia! Joe’s here!” Mom called from downstairs.
“Coming!” I yelled.
“Hey Amore Della Mia Vita” Joe said when I joined him at the bottom of the stairs.
“Hey pickle toes” I said, giving him a kiss.
“Ready?” he asked.
I nodded. “Where’s Frankie?” I asked
“Oh, at home. He wasn’t ready. He was deciding which WebKinz he wanted you to meet…”
I laughed. “Oh, okay!”
“Let me say bye to my parents real quick, and then we can go” I told him.
“Okay” Joe said, and I left him to go and went to say bye to y parents.
“Bye” I hugged my mom.
“Call when you get there” she said.
“I will, I promise” I promised her
“Bye pumpkin” Dad gave me a hug
“Bye Daddy. Love you” I said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
“Love you too princess” he said.
“Okay, ready?” Joe asked when I rejoined him.
“Yep” I said, and he grabbed my suitcase and we were out the door.
Joe’s POV
“Frankie can’t stop talking about you…even though he’s never met you. He just repeats the stuff I tell him about you over and over again” I laughed.
Mia laughed. “I can’t wait to meet the man!”
“You’ll like him, he’s a lot of fun” I told her.
“Do you want to wait here and I’ll go get him or do you want to come with?” I asked when we pulled into my driveway.
“Uh, I’ll wait here” she said.
“Okay” I said, and got out of the car.
“Frankie! You ready?” I yelled as I walked in the door.
“Coming!” he called, running down the stairs, a lion WebKinz in one hand and a penguin in the other.
“I’m bringing Pete the Penguin and Leo the lion!” Frankie told me.
“Okay” I laughed. “I’m taking Frankie Mom! Bye” I called.
“Okay, have fun!” Mom yelled from the kitchen.
“Hi!” Frankie said to Mia as he got into the car.
“Hello. You must be the legendary Frank The Tank” She said.
He nodded. “I sure am! And you must be Mia! Joe talks about you all the time. I know a lot about you because of him” he said.
“Oh really?” Mia asked, looking at me.
I blushed. “What? Can’t a guy talk about his girlfriend?”
Mia smiled. “I guess” she sighed.
“Are those WebKinz?” Mia gasped.
Frankie nodded. “Yep! This is Pete, and this is Leo” Frankie showed her.
“Wow! My best friend and I have WebKinz too! I just have a black cat and a Golden Retriever though. My little cousin likes to play, so I play with her and Melody online sometimes” Mia said.
“You have WebKinz?” I whispered.
She nodded. “Like I said, my little cousin likes to play on them and Mel is addicted, even though she’s 18. And she’s getting me addicted too…” she laughed, and I laughed too.
“What are their names?” he asked.
“My black cat’s name is Sabrina and my golden retriever is Stormy” Mia told him.
“Cool! Does your cat have the wizard room?” he asked as I pulled out of the driveway.
“Yep! And Stormy has the beach” She said.
“Cool!” Frankie said. “Do you have a lot of money?”
Mia nodded. “I have $15,000 I think”
“I have more than you!! I have $40,000!!” Frankie exclaimed.
Mia laughed. “Oh, wow! You have a lot more than I do!”
“Yep, I do! I have 27 WebKinz” Frankie said.
“Wow! That’s a lot!” Mia exclaimed.
Frankie nodded. “I know!! Joe, Kevin, and Nick’s fans bought me a lot of them. And they got me some for my birthday. And I bought some with my Christmas money from grandma and grandpa” Frankie told her.
“That’s cool!” Mia said.
“How old is your cousin?” Frankie asked.
“She’s 7, same as you.” Mia said.
“Cool! Where does she live?” he asked.
“Florida” she told him.
“Oh, okay!” he said.
“So, what do you want?” I asked when we got into the McDonalds.
“Quarter pounder with cheese only” Mia told me.
“Cool. Frankie, chicken nuggets?” I asked
“Mighty kids!” Frankie told me
“Okay. Sprite?” I asked about what drink he wanted.
“Yes!” Frankie said.
“Do you want me to take him over there?” Mia asked, and pointed to the play area.
“Would you?” I asked. “It’d be awesome if you did. Frankie, well, he doesn’t sit still for very long” I told her, as Frankie rocked back and forth on his heels.
Mia laughed. “Okay.”
“Frankie, come on. Let’s go get a table and go to the play area” Mia grabbed his hand, and they walked to the play area.
Mia’s POV
“I like you” Frankie told me as we walked.
“Aw, thank you! I like you too” I told him.
“You’re really pretty” he said. “I see why Joe thinks you are”
“Thanks Frankie. You’re so sweet. You’re pretty handsome yourself” I told him.
“Really?! Thanks!! I used to have a girlfriend, but we broke up” he told me.
“A girlfriend?!” I exclaimed.
“Yep!” He told me. “She lives down the street.”
“I want to play with you on WebKinz! I can show you my house!! It’s really big” Frankie said as we sat down.
“I’d like that. And I can show you mine” I said.
“Yeah! Can I tell you about my house?” he asked, and before I could answer he started describing it. “I have a living room, and it’s really big, a big kitchen, a diner, 2 backyards with a pool and a volleyball net and a garden, and I have a room for everyone and I have a game room and a TV room and a garage!” he told me.
“Wow! You have a big house!” I laughed.
Frankie nodded. “I have 27 animals, so I need a big house. I want a chocolate lab. I don’t have one yet” he sighed.
“Maybe I’ll get you one” I said.
His face lit up. “Really?! I haven’t seen them anywhere, but I really, really want one!!”
I laughed. “Okay, I’ll see what I can do”
“Lunch, is served” Pickle toes brought our meals over to our table.
“Thanks Pickle Toes” I said.
“Pickle toes?” Frankie giggled.
“Yes, that’s my name. You got a problem with that?” Joe asked.
Frankie shook his head quickly. “No”
“Good” Joe laughed.
Frankie gasped. “Did I tell you I was in a band?” he asked me
“You are?! What’s your band’s name?” I asked him. He was too cute.
“RockSlap!! We’re awesome!!” he said.
“I’d love to hear ya’ll sometime!” I told him.
“Yeah! You should hear our number one hit…Monster Claw!” he told me.
“I’d love to!!” I exclaimed.
“You should hear their Holiday Hits and Greatest Hits Collection” Joe told me. I knew he was joking.
“I’ll have to look for it on iTunes” I laughed.
Frankie gasped again.
“What?” Joe asked, mouth full of burger.
I giggled. “Joe, chew, swallow, then talk”
Joe swallowed. “Sorry” he said, wiping his mouth with his napkin.
“I got a Kung-Fu Panda!” Frankie exclaimed, ripping open the package.
Joe and I laughed. “Cool!” I said.
“It talks!” Frankie exclaimed, making it do all sorts of Kung-Fu sounds.
Joe laughed. “That’s awesome Frankie!”
“I know!!” he said.
“I’m gonna go play now” he said, putting his panda down.
“But you need to eat” Joe said.
“I will! I want to play though” he said, and left.
Joe rolled his eyes. “See what I mean? Can’t sit still”
I laughed. “I used to be the same way”
“Really? Me too!” Joe said.
I kissed him lightly. “Oh Pickle toes” I sighed
“Yes, Amore Della Mia Vita?” He asked.
“Nothing” I told him, taking a sip of my Diet Coke.
“So, what do you think of Frankie?” he asked.
I laughed. “He’s awesome!!”
Joe laughed too. “Told you”
Part LXI
Nick’s POV
“Hey Mom, can I invite Sam over for lunch?” I asked after Joe and Frankie left.
“I don’t see why not” Mom smiled.
“Great!” I said, and picked up my cell phone.
“Hello” Sam answered.
“Hey! It’s Nick” I said.
“Hey Nick! What’s up?” she asked.
“I was just wondering if you wanted to come over for lunch” I said.
“I thought you were leaving” she said.
“Not for a while.” I told her.
“Oh! Okay. Uh, Mom!!” She said, and I heard her ask her mom if she could come.
“Mom says it’ll be fine. I’ll be there in like 3 minutes, k?” Sam said.
“Okay!” I said, and hung up.
A few minutes later, Samantha arrived.
“Hey!” I said, kissing her cheek as she walked in
Sam giggled. “Hey yourself” She kissed me back, this time on the lips.
“Parent in the room” Dad walked by as we were kissing.
We immediately stopped. “Sorry Dad” I laughed.
“Thanks so much for lunch Mrs. Jonas” Samantha thanked my mom after we’d finished eating.
“No problem honey. Come by any time. And you can call me Denise” Mom told her.
“Okay!” Sam said.
“Uh, wanna watch TV?” I asked.
“Sure” Sam said, and we got up and walked into the living room.
“Nick, I have to run to the bank real fast, and your dad is going to come with me. Call if you need us” Mom told me.
“Okay” I said, and sat down on the couch next to Samantha.
Mrs. Jonas’s POV
“Kevin” I stopped my son as he walked down the stairs.
“Yeah?” he asked.
“Watch them. It’s not that I don’t trust Nick, it’s just, you know the rules about not having a girl over while we’re not here. So, I’m putting you in charge, and when Joe gets back, him too. Got it?” I told him.
Kevin nodded. “Will do” he smiled.
“Good. Be back in a few” I kissed his cheek, and was out the door.
Kevin’s POV
“Whatcha watching?” I plopped down into a chair.
“Uh, TV” Nick said.
“What show?” I asked.
“A movie” he told me, trying to put his arm around Samantha, but stopped everytime I asked a question.
“Oh, cool. What movie?” I asked.
Sam giggled.
“Uh, you’ll find out soon” Nick told me, finally putting his arm around his girl.
“We’re home!” Joe called as he, Mia, and Frankie walked in the door.
“Come on Mia!” Frankie dragged Mia up the stairs by the hand.
“Do you want me to…” Joe tried to say.
“No! Just me and Mia” Frankie interrupted him.
Mia laughed. “Yeah Joe, just me and Frankie” she told him.
“Oh, I am so sorry” he said sarcastically, and walked into the living room.
“Hey! I’m Joe” Joe introduced himself to Samantha. “You must be Samantha”
Sam nodded. “Yep!”
“Great to meet you” Joe told her.
“You too” Sam smiled. She was too sweet.
“What are we watching?” Joe asked as he sat down in the other chair.
“A movie” Nick said, and I could tell he was annoyed.
“What movie?” Joe asked.
“You’ll see” Nick sighed.

Mom told me 2 watch Nick and Sam, since the no girls in the house when they aren’t home rule. She said when u got home to help me.
I sent Joe a text message.

Nick’s POV
Joe and Kevin were being so embarrassing.
“I’m sorry” I whispered into Sam’s ear.
“About what?” she asked.
“Never mind” I told her.
“What the heck? You love her don’t you?!” Kevin yelled at the TV
I was just about to kiss Samantha, and he just had to yell that, ruining it.
I was pretty sure he didn’t know I was about to kiss her, but then again, I wasn’t sure.
“What? Run after her idiot! She’s hot!” Joe yelled.
“Yeah! Listen to Joe fool!” Kevin yelled
Sam giggled. “Your brothers are hilarious” she whispered.
“Yeah, sure, I guess” I mumbled.
I started to lean into kiss Samantha for the 8th time, and then Joe…
“What the heck?! Kiss her fool!” he yelled.
“I’m trying to!” I yelled.
I should not have said that. That was supposed to stay in my head. Stupid Nick I thought.
“What?” Kevin asked.
“Uh, nevermind” I said, and gave up on trying to kiss Samantha for now.
“Uh, I gotta go” Sam said, looking at a text on her phone.
“Mom needs me” she said.
“Oh, okay. I’ll walk you out” I said, standing up.
Joe’s POV
“I think we made him mad” I said to Kevin.
“I think so too. Whoops” Kevin said.
Part LXII
Nick’s POV
“You idiots!” I yelled at Kevin and Joe
“What?” Kevin asked.
“Oh you know what you did” I said.
“Not this game again” Joe groaned.
“You two totally embarrassed me!!” I yelled.
“We didn’t mean to!” Joe yelled.
I rolled my eyes. “Whatever”
Mia’s POV
“And, that’s my tiger’s room. Her name is Tina” Frankie showed me his WebKinz house.
“Wow! You have a huge house!” I said.
“I know” he said proudly.
He was so sweet. He made me wish I had siblings even more.
~3 hours later~
“Go to sleep babe” Joe told me as I was sinking on our plane ride.
I yawned, and rested my head against his shoulder. “Wake me when we get there” I said.
“I will. Sweet dreams Amore Della Mia Vita” Joe said, kissing my forehead.
Part LXIII
Joe’s POV
“We’re here” I gently shook Mia awake.
Mia yawned.
“Good sleep?” I asked
She nodded. “Very”
“WE LOVE YOU!” Fans screamed outside the airport as we walked out
How they knew we were coming, I had no idea.
“NICK!! WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?” One screamed.
“KEVIN!!! MARRY ME!!” Another screamed.
“JOE!!!! YOU’RE SO HOT!!” Another screamed.
“If they say anything about you negative, don’t listen. Trust me.” I whispered to Mia
She nodded. “This is crazy. Your fans are awesome”
I laughed. “Yes, they are!”
~A few hours later~
“Ready?” I asked Mia.
We were going to dinner with some friends tonight.
Mia finished putting on her lip gloss and grabbed her purse. “Now I am”
“You look stunning” I told her, kissing her cheek.
She was wearing a little black *CENSORED*tail dress with black heels, and had her hair pulled up on her head in a loose bun. She looked gorgeous.
Of course, to me, she always did.
“Thanks” she said, kissing me lightly.
“It’s the truth” I smiled.
“Hey, hey!” Kevin gave our best friend Mandy a huge hug when we met up with her at a restaurant in the city.
“Hey guys!” Mandy gave us all hugs.
“You must be Mia! Joe’s told me all about you” Mandy said to Mia.
“Yes, I am. And you’re Mandy, right?” Mia asked
Mandy nodded. “Yes I am!!”
“Hey CJ” I said to Mandy’s boyfriend from Push Play.
“Hey Joe. Who’s your lady?” he asked.
“Oh, Mia. She’s awesome!” I told him.
“That’s good.” CJ said.
“NICK!” Tiffany practically pounced on Nick
“TIFFANY!!” Nick laughed.
“I missed you!!” she said, giving him a huge hug.
“I know!! It’s been, like, forever!” Nick hugged her.
“Is that Tiffany Giardina?” Mia asked me.
I nodded. “Are you a fan?” I asked.
She nodded quickly. “She’s an amazing singer”
We ate and talked with our old friends, and then went back to our hotel.
“That was fun” Mia said before we spilt to go to bed.
“Everyone really liked you” I said, giving her a kiss.
“I liked everyone too!” she giggled.
“Joe! Come on! Bed! We have to get up early tomorrow!” Nick called from our room.
“Okay, coming!” I said.
“Night pickle toes” Mia said, kissing me.
“Night Amore Della Mia Vita” I said.
