He was gone forever. She got to him as fast as she could, but it just wasn't in time.
*Gunshot*
Now her best friend was gone. That day, the most gruesome day in her entire life, she lost the two most important people in her life. She had seen more than most people see in their entire lives. Gone Forever...
Chapter One
A week later:
That same girl sits and listens, tears never coming to an end, as friends, family, and loved ones reminisce on the memories of both of them. A joint funeral, both gone at the same instant. No one would have ever guessed that the girl who now sits and cries could ever show that much compassion for two people ever again. Her bestfriend and boyfriend both gone, forever. Memories of them filter through her mind every second.
One year later:
It has been one year since they lowered Tommy and Andrea's casket into the ground. One year and one week since they both met their deaths. Neither knowing that was the way they would go. And Heather still blames herself for the entire thing.
"Heather, time to go, you don't want to be late for the concert!" Sydney's mother yelled up the stairs. Heather checked her outfit over in the mirror one last time. White skinny jeans, black converse, and a black fitted tee. Her brown hair was curled into a cascade of curls that reached just below her shoulder blades. She decided to pin it back with a simple clip then hit the road.
Heather walked down the steps and her mother looked at her. "Sweetie, you look so beautiful, I'm glad you decided to go tonight."
"Thanks mom, I just really wish Andrea could have come with me," Heather said, as tears welled up inside her.
"Don't cry sweetie, she will be there, in spirit. So if that clumsy one, Joe falls or trips, you know thats her work," her mom said, wiping away her tears. "Now lets get in the car, we still need to pick up Kaylee."
Over a year ago, Andrea and Heather had entered a contest to win tickets and private meet and greet passes for a Jonas Brothers concert. Heather had totally forgotten about it until she got a call saying she won. Instead of going with Andrea, she was going with Kaylee, one of her close, spunky friends.
They arrived at the arena for the concert and made their way to the line of people waiting to get in. Kay read over their passes and let out a scream.
"What?!" Heather asked.
"It says on here that we get to go to some kind of soundcheck party, it starts in fifteen minutes!"
"Oh, uhm, okay," Heather said a little confused.
"Sir, sir!" Kay practically screamed at a man who worked there. "What do we do with these?"
He then opened the velvet robe and let them inside. The arena was huge and empty. Lucky for Heather and Kay, they had front row, dead center seats.
