I was thinking of this story. A small town girl wins a singing contest, like American Idol, but not so big. She is pushed into the bustling world of entertainment. She finds a new home in Hollywood records and her first friend in her ex-boy bander turned producer Kevin Jonas. He helps guide her through the world of cameras and publicity as she makes some interesting industry friends, including his two younger brothers. But, jealously and greed will show her that there's no buisiness like show business.
