“I never thought they could be so amazing in person.” I recited to Raamish. “I mean, they basically just take my breath away with every move they make..” I started rambling on and on. “I know! And Kevin? That boy always knows how to look good no matter what!” Raamish blurted out. Everyone knew about our obsession. The Jonas Brothers. We ate, slept, drank and dreamed The Jonas Brothers. They took place in our daily and nightly conversations. Even at school we would relate them any way possible. Everyone was sick of hearing about them of course, because that’s all that was taken place during the normal six hours of school. I was so stoked when I found out my mom actually got tickets. For who? The Jonas Brothers of course. The best band ever alive. Ever since Nick sang the lyrics of “Appreciate”, I knew I was in love. I would always fall asleep with a smile on my face to the thought of Nick Jonas. He was the only thing on my mind every day. Anytime I listened to “A Little Bit Longer” it brought tears to my eyes. I couldn’t stand the thought of Nick and his diabetes.
I couldn’t believe it. March 22nd, I was going to see the Jonas Brothers. My mother managed to get me seats and I was going to take one of my really great friends Raamish. Who was also a Jonas obsessed fan. Little did I know, Iwas going to meet them. “Meet and Greet line, stay to the left!” I quickly geared to the left being very precise to make sure I followed all the directions. “Oh my gosh, there they are..” I started to stare in a gaze. This was the moment I’ve been waiting for all my life. I was going to finally meet Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas. My heroes, my life, my idols. I was finally going to meet them. I couldn’t believe it. I ran by the table and smiled at Kevin. He gave me a hug, signed my poster and asked me how I was doing. I smiled back politely and told him he was amazing at guitar hero. He laughed. I was pretty sure a lot of girls told him that line. When Raamish finally got to Kevin she nearly passed out. I had to grab her hand just so she wouldn’t fall over.
I got to Joe next, and he told me a joke and I laughed. It was coming from Joe Jonas? How couldn’t you laugh! He signed my poster, and I moved on. Finally, it was time. I was going to meet Nick Jonas. I stood in front of him and gave him a smile and told him Hello. He said Hello back, and smiled like I’ve never seen before. It took my breath away. He was amazing. Even more than I have ever imagined. I gave him a hug. My heart skipped several beats. He stood there smiling at me. It felt like the whole world around us paused except for us. Finally, I was standing face to face to Nick Jonas. “You need to keep going Miss.” Big Rob came over to push my along. I waved goodbye and followed the exit. I couldn’t believe it. It was amazing, just to be near him.
