Chapter 05
Ashley's P.O.V.
After eating supper with Nick, Joe, and Lisa my dad came and picked me up. Yeah I know. How embarrasing? I hugged Joe goodbye and then Nick. He smelled really good and looked good too. I had such an amazing time with them. Before leaving we all traded numbers. Nick decided to be cute and take a picture of him and save it in my phone and setted it as my background. I got into my dad's truck smiling.
"Okay. Which one of them do you like?" he asked.
"Dad. What makes you think that I like one of them?"
"After you hugged them you came in here smiling and all happy. Something good must have happened."
"I just met them. I can't possibly like like them."
"Uh huh. Alright. Sure. Whatever."
"Ha"
Nick's P.O.V.
Today was a great day. I kind of had to drag Joe to auditions. He was still kind of iffy about doing it again. After rehearsing today with Joe, Ashley, and Lisa I was tired. Joe wasn't. He invited his girlfriend Iris over. And Kevin invited his girlfriend Sarah over. I think Sarah has been over at our house all day. Kevin and Sarah are downstairs watching The Notebook. Joe and Iris are in our music room. I can hear singing and the guitar playing. I'm guessing Joe is singing to her. I was tired and wanted to go to bed. I got a shower and then laid in bed trying to fall asleep. It was only like 8:00. I got up and walked over to the end table in my room and got my phone and dialed Ashley's number.
"Hello." she said. I loved her voice. It was so soft and pretty.
"Hey Ash. It's Nick."
"Oh hey. What's up?"
"Just got a shower and tried going to bed but I couldn't."
"Well it is only 8." she said with a slight giggle.
"I know. I got bored. Joe and Kevin have their girlfriends over. I didn't want to hang out with them so I went up to my room."
"Ha. Nice"
I could hear screaming in the backgroud.
"Who is that?"
"That would be my twin sister Kaylee. Her and her boyfriend of a year just broke up. She's been kind of mean lately. It'll go away soon. Hopefully."
"You have a twin?" he said shocked.
"Yup. She's older than me by a couple minutes."
"That's cool."
"Yup. Sorry but I have to go. My sister wants to talk to me."
"Okay. Hopefully things work out."
"Thanks Nick. See you later."
"Later."
Then we hung up. I just sat there on my bed strumming away on my guitar. I silenty sang hello beautiful. I can't wait for the day to sing it to the girl I love.
