Chapter 13
Ashley's P.O.V.
Either I'm dreaming or did Nick just kiss me? He kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and said "I really like you too."
"I didn't really want to do this in a pool, but it will do." Nick said.
"What are you talking about?" I said confused.
"Ashley...as you know, I really like. I've wanted and dreamed about this for a very long time. Will you be my girlfriend?"
I just stood there in the water, in shock.
"Yes. Of course." I said.
I turned his head and kissed him on the cheek and then we hugged for what seemed like forever.
2 weeks later.
Today is the day we finally start on Broadway. I can't believe that me, Ashley Adams is going to be on Broadway. It's a dream come true. Nick is going to get his drivers permitt soon, so that means that we'll be able to drive together. The director and everyone who was in charge told us and, the dancers, and other kids that got parts what was going to happen and what they expected out of us. Everyone got with the choreographer and he taught us a dance that's in the show. It's a really good work out. By the end of the day my legs felt like jello. It hurt to move. When I got home mom and dad were watching some movie that was on TV. I was about to go into my room when I heard giggling from Kaylee's room. When I got closed I heard a deep voice. I opened the door and came in like I heard nothing at all. Kaylee and this boy pulled apart and looked at me.
"Uh. Hi Ashley. How was practice today?" she said.
"Fine. It was terrific. and by the way, who is that?" i said pointing to the boy.
"This is Jordan. He moved here a couple weeks ago. I was showing him around today." she said.
"Oh. Okay. Showing around huh?"
"I know I'm not supposed to have guys up here so please don't tell mom or dad. No one for that matter. Please Ashley?"
"Alright. Keep your voices down though mom and dad are just downstairs." I said walking out if her room.
When i walked out I saw dad coming up here to say goodnight to Kaylee. I ran back into her room to warn her. And once again they were kissing.
"You two. Stop making out. Dad is on his way up here." I said quickly.
With that Jordan ran tp the windown and onto the low roof on our house. By that time, Dad was knocking on her door. We closed the window and sat on her bed like nothing happened. Dad came in and sent me to my room for bed. This has been a crazy day.
