~Reed's POV~

I watched from the hall as Jack leaned down kissing Madison while tears ran down her face.It took everything I had not to go and pull him away from her but I knew I had messed up and that doing that would only make things worse.I watched as she slowly pushed him away saying something before she shook her head and then walked away.Jack rubbed his neck before he turned and headed in the other direction.If only Madison had known that I was only trying to keep he from getting into trouble.That the person I was talking to was my ex-girlfriend who refused to believe that we were over and had called because she saw the stupid magazines and if I had told her the truth she would have gone to the media about it for the money because that was the way she was.If she told them we were going behind Kevin's back and they printed it we would both be in alot of trouble.Truth was I hated going behind her parents back but I loved her and it was the only way.

That night at the concert I watched her as she walked onto the stage with her guitar her eyes puffy from crying though she tried to hide it with a pair of sungl*CENSORED*.

"Hey guys."She said with a smile,I knew her well enough to know that was a fake smile"I'm going to be singing two songs tonight this first one is kinda fast."

She set the accoustic down as she grabbed the mic and the music started to play.

I glanced at her dad to see a shocked expression on his face becuase of the fact that his daughter had just said a curse word.I glanced back at her only to see her looking back at me a frown on her face as I watched a tears slip down her cheek as the music started up again and she grabbed her accoustic.

I watched her as she slowly said goodnight to the crowd and then walked quickly off the stage and passed me tears streaming down her cheeks as she took off the gl*CENSORED*.

~Madison's POV~

That night I skipped out on seein gmy dad preform by telling Niki I didn't feel well,she told me dad and he imediatly sent me back to the bus to rest telling Nicolette to come with me.I laid on the couch in the lounge crying as Nicolette tried her best to comfort me.My mind kept going from Reed to the kiss I shared with Jack.I heard the door open a few minutes later.

"You shouldn't be here."Nicollete said but I didn't bother to lift my head to see who it was.

"I just want to talk to her."As soon as I heard his voice my head shot up and I looked at Reed as he stood in the doorway his blue eyes burning into my green ones as he looked back at me.

Nicolette looked back at me for an answer and I bit my lip before I nodded at her and she slowly got up and walked out of the room as she shut the door behind her.

"You have ten minutes Reed."I said softly looking away from him.

"Mads what you heard this morning it wasn't..it's not not you think."He said softly as he walked over and sat down beside me"Mads I had to tell her that to protect you."
"Protect me?"I questioned as I looked at him"How does telling another girl that you love her and I'm nothing to you protect me."

"Mads she's my ex girlfriend and she never quiet got over me."He said softly"If I were to tell her that I love you and not her she would go to the media and lie about a bunch of stuff."

My head was spinning when he got done talking.

He loved me!?

I looked at him as he looked at the coffee table a frown on his face.I slowly put my hand under his chin as I turned his head so that he was looking at me.

"What did you say?"I asked softly.

"She would go to the media and like about a bunch of stuff."He said softly.

"No before that."I said softly looking him in the eyes.

"That I love you."He said softly.

I quickly put my hands on both sides of his face as I pulled him to me pressing my lips against his in a passionate kiss sending chills down my spine.I could only hope that Nicolette had gone back to the concert hall.
