Chapter 1

~Kevin's POV~
I slowly walked up the stairs of the basment after helping Paul set some things up for their band practice as I got to the top of the stairs I saw Niki leaning against the counter as she fixed sandwhiches for all the kids.I smiled as I slowly walked over to her putting my hands on both sides of her as I slowly kissed her neck.

"Kevin."She said in her stern voice as she slowly turned around"Do you seriously want your kids to walk in on us?"

"I don't really care."I said with a little chuckle as I slowly leaned in and passionatly kissed her.

"Seriously you two need to get a room!"I heard Madison yell and I quickly pulled away from Niki as I looked over at her Nicolette and her bbest friend Emily standig there as they tried not to laugh.Nicolette slowly shook her head as she walked down the basemant stairs for band practice.

"How many times have I told you not to say stuff like that?"I asked.

"Not my fault that I hang around uncle Joe to much."She said with a little shrug"Anyways I was coming in here to let you guys know I was going to go to the mall with Emily."

"You mean your were coming to ask?"I asked.

She let out an annoyed sigh.

"Yes dad I was coming to ask."She said as she glanced at Emily and rolled her eyes.

I almost her no but then Niki elbowed me a little in the side as she looked up at me and I knew that she wanted me to let her go because after Paul got done with band practice he was going over to Nick and Sarah's house and we would be alone.

"Fine be home before midnight."I said and she smiled before she ran over quickly kissing my cheek before both her and Emily headed out the door.Only to come back a few minutes later.

I shook my head as I pulled my wallet out and handed her the credit card.

"Thanks dad."She said smiling at me.

"Just don't go too crazy this time."I said shaking my head"Just because your dad's a famous rockstar doesn't mean you can buy everything out of the store."

She smiled before she headed out the door.

"Now why do I have the feeling she's going to spend every penny I have?"I asked shaking my head.

Niki laughed a little before she shook her head and turned back around.

~Madison's POV~

Emily and I headed out the door and got into my black mustang,dad had gotten is for me for my sixteenth birthday.We got in before I started the car and we headed down the road.

"Your dad is really awesome!"Emily said excitedly"Mine would never let me take his credit card."

I smiled a little as I slowly got my cd case and flipped through it glancing up at the road as I did.Finally coming across my old Fall Out boy cd I slipped it into the cd player.It didn't matter to me that they were in their fourties they were still awesome.

"So are your dad and uncles going on tour again this summer?"She asked.

"Yeah and I think they're letting us go with them this time."I said smiling.

I had overheard my dad and mom talking about it the other day,even though Niki wasn't my realy mom I had always refered to her as mom because I didn't remember my real one.Dad and Niki had both tried to explain everything that had happened when I had gotten old enough to understand and dad would tell me that I looked just like her but with his hair color.

"Do you think they would let me tag along?"She asked.

"Oh definatly,dad knows I can't last without my best friend."I said with a little laugh as I pulled into the parking lot at the mall.

Did I mention we had paparrazi pretty much following us everywhere.I hated it because we never really got any privacy ever since I was little all I can remember is people snapping pictures of me during recess at school,when I would go to the park with friends,to the movies, and stuff like that.I could barely ever get away with anything because it usually ended up in the papers and well my dad would find out.We slowly got out of the car and walked towards the entrance of the mall cameras flashing everywhere.

We were there for about two hours before the paparrazzi started to get on my nerves.I slowly walked towards the bathroom with Emily knowing they wouldn't follow us in there.

"Ok so I say we split and make a run for it."I said as I looked at myself in the mirror.

"So where do you want to meet back up at?"She asked.

"Uh how about hot topic."I said.

"Umm ok."She said nodding her head before she walked out of the bathroom.

I waited a few minutes before I slowly walked out of the bathroom and started to walk really fast as they followed,I picked up the pace a little bit and was soon running through the mall trying my best to avoid running into people yelling a quick apology if I did.I ended up running straight into someone though when I looked back ending up on my bottom.

"I so sor--ry."I said as I slowly looked up at who I had run into.

Reed was the son of Ryan Scheckler and AJ Michalka,yeah the AJ that unlce Joe used to date wasy before he met aunt Ari.He looked nothing like either of his parents though he did have his dads piercing blue eyes.His hair was black and he had emo looking haircut,he had piercings in his nose and two on his bottom lip not to mention some tattoos.He was a skateboarder just like his dad and if I had read the magazine right he was also an amazing singer.

"It's fine."He said as he looked up and noticed who was following me,he quickly helped me up still holding my hand as he walked into a store and then quickly headed to the back where there were dressing rooms,he pulled me into one and quickly shut the door.

"Thanks."I said letting out a sigh as I slowly sat down on the bench thing that they had in there.

"So why is the papparrazzi chasing after a pretty girl like you?"He asked raising his eyebrow a little causing me to blush as I looked away from him.

"I'm Kevin Jonas's daughter."I said softly.

"Kevin Jonas?"He questioned.

"You know the Jonas Brothers."I said looking back at him.

"Oh."He said nodding his head slowly"My mom told me about them."

"AJ right?"I asked.

He nodded slowly.

"So I guess you know who I am."He said with a little smirk.

"What teenage girl doesn't?"I asked before I realized what I had said,as soon as I did I felt my cheeks start to get red again as he smiled even bigger and slowly walked over sitting down next to me.

"So we may be in here for a little while."He said"Why don't you tell me a little about yourself.

I smiled a little and looked down at my hands.

I didn't know how long we had been in the dressing room but I really didn't care,I was getting to know Reed and him the same with me.I was slowly starting to like this boy,I mean sure I had thought he was cute in magazines but now that I had met him in person I was starting to fall for him.After a few minutes I slowly looked down at the time on my phone.

"Crap."I said.

"What?"He asked quickly looking at me.

"I was supposed to meet my friend in hot topic."I said quickly getting up and walking towards the door"She's so going to kill me."

I peeked out smiling when I didn't see anyone with a camera.I slowly started to head out.

"Wait let me come with you."He said.

"Not that I wouldn't love for you to but if the media catches us together all kinds of rumors are going to fly."I said softly"And if my dad finds out he's going to slip."

"Well can I at least get your number?"He asked with a little smile.

I bit my lip before I grabbed a pen off of one of the counters and grabbed his hand jotting it down before I quickly walked away to get Emily a smile on my face.
