Hey guys! Chapter 13! :D

I just want to warn you all, that this is a VERY romantic chapter. enjoy! :))

Chapter 13

    After they ate, the pairs separated and each went to the other sides of the beach.

    “So, tell me about yourself.” Joe said as he and Kate walked by the sands, holding hands.

    “Well, I grew up in San Diego, but then my parents got divorced 2 years ago. So my dad left and came here in L.A. It’s actually the first time I’ve visited him.” Kate said looking at the sunset.

    “Ohh. I’m sorry about the divorce.” Joe said.

    “It’s okay, I’ve gotten used to it.” Kate said looking at him. Her heart started skipping a beat and her stomach was suddenly filled with butterflies.

    “So what about you? Tell me about yourself. What’s it like being the most sought after guy in practically the whole world?” Kate added.

    “Whole world? I’m not so sure about that. Haha, well I’m Super-Joe. I usually fly all over the world to save people, but you know I have to keep my identity a secret. I’m not from this world you know.” Joe said looking at her with a straight face.

    “No come one, seriously Joe. Haha. I mean that’s great and all, but I want to get to know the real you.” Kate said.

    “Well, I’m Joseph. Just a regular guy, who sings in a band that got lucky, i’m still a normal 18 year old. People just don’t think I am. I mean they label me as the “Heartbreaker”. But I don’t think that’s really me. Maybe I just like meeting a lot of girls so then I would get to find her, that perfect girl. The one who can take my breath away. You know? I mean, being famous does have it’s perks, but sometimes it would also be fun not to be, so then I could really find a girl who’ll simply like me for me, plain old Joe.” Joe said looking at Kate who seemed really interested in what he just said.

    “I get what you mean, I mean not the famous part but yeah. And I also feel the same way. I just want to find that one guy who’ll simply take my breath away and when he tells me he loves me he’s out of breath too. Haha. Well what do you know? We’re both the romantic huh?” Kate said as she and Joe sat by the sand facing the ocean.

    “Yeah, I guess so.” Joe said smiling.

    Nick and Bea were walking by the sand, holding hands.

    “So, really are you this quiet?” Bea asked smiling at Nick.

    “Not really, I can be frisky too you know.” Nick said laughing.

    “Well, prove it. Haha. You seem so quiet and so sad. Are you hiding something?” Bea said as curiosity filled her eyes.

    “No, not really.” Nick said looking at her straight in the eyes.

    “C’mon you can tell me. I promise I won’t report it to E! At least not right now.” Bea said playfully.

    “Well, it’s a long story.” Nick said.

    “I’ve got time.” Bea said smiling at him, sincerely.

    The two sat down and faced each other.

    “Well it all started with this girl. I thought she really liked me, like sincerely. But then I started to find out that she just liked me cause I was famous. You know? Like she just wanted to gloat it to her friends that she was dating me. And her friend even told me her exact words. ‘if he wasn’t famous I wouldn’t even date him.’” Nick said looking down.

    “Oh, I’m so sorry” Bea said.

    “Well, I’m glad her friend felt that bad for me and told me the truth. So eventually I broke up with her. She got frustrated and even told me that she was too good for me. And all.” Nick continued.

    “It’s not your fault and YOU’RE the one that’s too good for her.” Bea said.

    “Yeah, well that’s not what she thought. The sad thing is I actually might have loved her. I have to admit, I’m a hopeless romantic. I fall too fast.” Nick said sadly.

    “Well, you just have to learn to control your heart and don’t worry I’ll always be here for you. She’s never going to be good enough for you. She’s not even worth being sad over.” Bea said as she held Nick’s other hands.

    “It’s going to be fine. Okay?” Bea added.

    “Yeah, you’re right. I’m sorry for turning this into such a soap opera.” Nick said.

    “It’s fine, I like listening to stories.” Bea said.

    “Haha, so what about you? Stories of your own?” Nick asked.

    “Well, been single for a little while, I dated this guy. But it just didn’t work out, you know? He wanted it to be like official and all. And that kind of freaked me out, I just want to have fun. We’re 15 you know? I just want to start all over after the last boyfriend I had.” Bea said.

    “Why what about him?” Nick aksed.

    “Ugh, he’s a jerk.” Bea said.

    “Oh, well you know what here’s to starting over. Right?” Nick said.

    “Right.” Bea said smiling. “I can’t believe it.” She suddenly blurted out.

    “Can’t believe what?” Nick asked.
   
    “Well, I actually got to talk to you, like you weren’t famous and all. I mean don’t get me wrong. It’s just that I’m the really giddy type. You know?” Bea said.

    “Yeah, I get you. I’m glad you can talk to me.” Nick said.

    “I guess, you bring out the best in me?” Bea said with a laugh.

    “Yeah, and I’m glad.” Nick said with a smile.

    Nick started to lean forward and kissed Bea.

    “Thanks.” Joe said all of a sudden.

    “For what?” Kate asked.

    “For being able to get to know me for me, and not the Joe Jonas everybody expects to know.” Joe said.

    “I’m glad I got to know you better.” Kate said.

    And as the sun was about to set Joe kissed Kate.

Chapter 14

    “Woah.” Bea said and smiled after the kiss.

    “I’m sorry, was that too soon?” Nick asked.

    “No, no. It’s fine.” Bea said still smiling from ear to ear.

    “Oh. Okay.” Nick said, smiling.

    “So we better look for Joe and Kate huh?” Bea asked as the two started to stand up.

    “Yeah, okay. But uhm, Bea maybe sometime we can go out? You know just the two of us?” Nick asked looking  down.

    “Yeah, sure. I would love that.” Bea said.

    “Great!” Nick said and held Bea’s hand. They walked around looking for the two.

    “If only this day could never end.” Joe said.

    “JOE!!!” Someone called out. They both looked back to see Nick and Bea coming over.

    “And now it is.” Joe said.

    “It’s okay, we can go out tomorrow.” Kate said smiling at him

    “Okay, that would be great. I’ll pick you up at noon?” Joe said as they were starting to stand up.

    “Noon would be awesome.” Kate said.
   
    So they stood up and went to where Nick and Bea were. The four walked to the car and before leaving each said their goodbyes.

    “I’ll see you tomorrow?” Joe said.

    “Definitely.” Kate said as she kissed Joe’s cheek. Which put a smile on Joe’s face.

    “I’ll see you soon right?” Nick asked.

    “Yeah. Of course.” Bea said and they hugged. Then Nick kissed Bea on the cheek.

    “Bye.” The boys said in unison.

    “Bye.” The girl replied.

    The boys waited for the two girls to get in the car and drive off. Then they headed to their car.

    “Kate is awesome, man.” Joe said dreamily.

    “So is Bea.” Nick said smiling.

    “Are you going to see her anytime soon?” Joe asked as he started the engine.

    “Yeah, but I haven’t asked her when exactly. You?” Nick asked.

    “Yup, tomorrow. Picking her up at noon.” Joe said.

    “Wow, that was quick.” Nick said.

    “Well, what can I say I’m suave.” Joe said.

    “Whatever.” Nick laughed and the two headed home.

    “So, how was it?” Bea asked.

    “It was so much fun! And he… kissed me!” Kate said.

    “Ohmygod! Me too!” Bea squealed.

    “Joe is so cute! And when you really get to know him, he’s actually a true romantic.” Kate said.

    “Nick is too sweet, I can’t believe he ever dated such a mean girl.” Bea said.

    “Really? Wow. Nick?” Kate said.

    “Yeah! I couldn’t believe it.” Bea said.

    “This girl dated him for his fame. Not cause she likes him or anything. How could anybody not like Nick?!” Bea added.

    “Woah. Calm down. She’s a cheap sl*t. At least Nick’s starting to have some taste now.” Kate said and smiled at her cousin.

    “HAHA. Well what about you and Joe? Is he really the true romantic?” Bea asked.

    “Yeah! At first he was all joking, but then when he got serious. I think I might have fallen in love.” Kate said laughing.

    “Kate?! Fall in love on the first date?! Are you really my cousin?” Bea asked.

    “I’m kidding! But, maybe.” Kate shrugged.

    “Whatever! What did Joe make you drink?” Bea asked.

    “Nothing! It’s just that, if you heard him. How he explained it all. It was just so sweet.” Kate said.

    “Huh. I wonder what he said.” Bea said.

    And the two got home.

    The two boys got home and Joe sat down on the couch and took his iPhone.

    Joe: Hi, so are you home? :]
    Kate: Hey Joe, yep. We are, and you guys?
    Joe: Yup. I can’t wait for tomorrow.
    Kate: Me too. Get some rest. I know you’re still pretty tired.
    Joe: Nah, I told you I’m super-Joe i’ll never be tired.
    Kate: Aw. But still, I want you to get your rest, okay? :] I’ll see you tomorrow.
    Joe: Okay, if you say so. :[ Haha. Goodnight babe. :]
    Kate: Goodnight sweetie. :]
