Chapter 18
When Kate woke up the next day, Bea was gone. She got her phone from the table and saw a message.
Bea: Went to meet Nick. Will be back soon. :]
Kate flipped down her sidekick and stood up. She went to her own bathroom and got dressed. She wore an orange sundress and Ray Ban sunglasses and brought her Balenciaga bag and headed to the door. Then her phone rang.
JOE
She answered it.
“Hey babe! Goodmorning!” Joe said.
“Hey sweetie, goodmorning. What are your plans for today?” Kate asked.
“Well, we have a concert tonight.” Joe said.
“Oh, that’s why Bea and Nick met up so early. Wonder where they went?” Kate said.
“Who knows? What about you? Any plans?” Joe asked.
“Just going out to Starbucks then out shopping. Haha.” Kate said.
“I wish you could come to our concert, babe.” Joe said sadly.
“I know. Me too.” Kate said, but Joe didn’t know that Kate had a surprise for him.
“Ahhh. So, do you want to meet up for a little while? Before we have to practice?” Joe said.
“Sure, sure. Heading to Starbucks. See you there?” Kate asked.
“On my way.” Joe said.

“So, concert tonight huh?” Bea said.
“Yeah. I would rather hang out with you though.” Nick smiled as he cuddled Bea.
The two met up really early and went to get coffee and stayed by the beach.
“Aw, but you can’t keep your fans waiting.” Bea said as she leaned on Nick.
“I know, but stiiiill.” Nick said.
“Hahahaha, So, what if I have to go back to San Fransisco? Would you be sad?” Bea asked.
“What?! When?! SAD? I’d be devastated!” Nick said shocked.
“Don’t worry! I was just asking. Haha.” Bea calmed him down.
“Oh. Okay. Haha. I’d be devastated, or even more.” Nick said.
“Aw, that’s so sweet. I love you.” Bea said. But then suddenly realized what she just said.
“I love you too.” Nick said.
“Really?” Bea asked.
“Yeah, I do. I really do.” Nick smiled.

Kate got to Starbucks and saw Joe waiting for her. He instantly smiled the moment he saw her. She went and sat beside him.
Joe leaned over and gave her a kiss.
“Hey gorgeous.” Joe said.
“Hi stud.” Kate laughed.
“You look beautiful.” Joe said, looking at his girl.
“Thanks, haha. So concert tonight huh?” Kate said.
“Yeaah. I’m going to miss you. I wish you were there.” Joe said.
“Me too. It sucks.” Kate said.
“I know, big time.” Joe said.
“It’s okay, there’s still a lot of girls there screaming for you to marry them. That’s going to be fun!” Kate joked.
“No! It won’t be, cause you’re not the one asking me.” Joe said.
“Excuse me?” Kate laughed.
“I know! What if you marry me?” Joe joked but had a straight face on.
“Haha, I will. Don’t worry.” Kate played along.
“Great! I’ll get my suit dear.” Joe said and kissed Kate.
“Haha, I’ll have to pick a dress you know!” Kate said.
“Oh, what you have on now is gorgeous. No need to change.” Joe said.
Then the two burst out laughing.
