Chapter 1
“Ugh, come on Iris! Your so lame!” I quickly ripped the shirt out of her hands. “Fine, even though it’s mine you can borrow it.” Iris and I are neighbors; we’ve been since ever since I could remember. We’ve been really good friends too. Next door to me lived four boys. Joseph, Nicholas, Paul (but we call him Kevin because that’s his middle name), and Franklin (who we also call Frankie for short. If you don’t he chucks webkinz at you. No joke.) Joe’s eighteen, Nicks fifteen, and Kevin’s twenty. Iris is seventeen, and me, well. I’m fourteen.
“Oh I so knew you’d give in!” I gave Iris a glare. She always gave in, she was such an easy target to achieve.
I felt a slight vibrate in my pocket, and I lifted out my phone to check the message. It read on the top
From: Nick
I slid up my phone to quickly read his message. He wasn’t exactly good with texting, he was more of a phone call kind of guy. The message read.
You guys take forever, are you almost ready?

I chuckled a tad as I read the message aloud to Iris. “I believe YOU’RE the one who takes to long Ashley.” She argued with me. She had a point, I always take to long.
We’ll be down in five minimum. Stay patient Jonas Boy.

I quickly typed back to Nick, and slid my phone shut. Iris and I finished straightening our hair, and making sure our outfits looked gorgeous. We were finally ready to go. We walked down my steps, as they slowly crept as we made our way down to the first floor.
We walked out to the front to find Nick, Joe and Kevin. “This is going to be great..” Joe rolled his eyes, being sarcastic.
About a month ago, we made a bet. See, we were all obsessed with Guitar Hero 3. Although Nick and I basically totally sucked, we still loved it. Whoever went a whole month without playing, would take the others out.
Lets just say, Kevin wasn’t a happy camper when we walked in on him secretly jamming to his favorite game. Iris and I had won the bet, like we had expected.
