Ashley’s Point Of View:
After nothing was on the television, I got up and walked back outside. I sat near Iris, who had finally gotten out of the pool with Joe. She left the poolside, and brought back some sandwiches Denise had made for us. I wasn’t hungry, so I just sat back and watched the boys ambush them. Iris grabbed one and sat down. I turned to see Joe creeping up behind her. They then both left, walking inside. I knew that was going to be interesting. Nick scooted closer to me, as he chewed on his sandwich.
“Ashley, aren’t you hungry?” He asked, putting his food down on the plate.
“Hm, not really.” I politely said, still not looking up at him.
He looked at me. “Ashley, what’s wrong with you? You aren’t yourself. I can tell that, anyday.” He asked, sounding upset.
“OH MY GOSHH!” Frankie came running into the room jumping up and down with his pig webkinz.
I looked up. “What’s wrong Frankie?”
He had a huge smirk over his face. “Joey’s got a girlfriiieeennnndd!”
My eyes widened, glancing over at Kevin who slowly appeared to be stiffening up. Frankie began singing, and jumping up and down ecstatic about his latest information.
“Hey Frankie, come here.” I whispered, only for him to hear. Frankie walked over standing in front of me as I whispered into his ear.
“Go inside and play with your webkinz, and then later I’ll take you out for ice cream. I promise.” Frankie had a huge smile on his face.
“I love you Ashley!” And he put his arms around me, grasping me in a big ‘Frankie’ hug.
He began skipping back inside chanting “I got a date with Ashley, I got a date with Ashley.”
I chuckled a bit. Frankie was adorable, and he always did everything that I asked. He always spies on the boys for me when I ask him to. We make deals occasionally.
I peered over to see the awkwardness still in Kevin’s face. His back was stiffer than a board. Nick leaned over to whisper into my ear.
“If I go play with my webkinz, will you take me out too?” I laughed a bit, looking at him. He had a smile on his face.
“I knew that laugh was in there somewhere.” He whispered back to me, which caused me to smile even more.
