Chapter One [no one's POV]

There waited a fifteen year old teenage girl as the hard and cold raindrops fell from the sky. She was in a t-shirt and blue skinny jeans and black flats. Her long dark brown hair plastered against her face and back. Her mascara stained tears rolling down her cheeks. I'll wait for you.. until the end of time she thought. It was cold outside and she already had a cold. But she still waited. She waited by the curb of where he promised to pick her up. Nothing can make me forget you

FLASHBACK

"Leave my daughter alone!" the man ordered pulling the girl away from the curly brown haired boy. "Kayla!" he cried. The girl broke free of her father's grasp and instantly ran into the boy's arms. He held her tight. "Wait for me" he whispered. "We'll be reunited again". The father then broke them apart and dragged his daughter away. "I love you!" Kayla called. "Shut up girl!" he ordered opening the car door and pushing her inside. She didn't get to hear the rest of what the boy had to say.

END OF FLASHBACK

She sat there shivering as a pair of headlights pulled up. Getting her hopes up, Kayla got up. Thinking it was her curly haired prince charming she had a hopeful look. But it wasn't. The car sped by a puddle completly splashing her with cold and dirty water. She was dirty, cold and sick. She felt tears approach her eyes as she began to cry. It's not fair she thought. It's not fair

Personality: lets see...i'm pretty shy and quiet at first..then you get to know me and i'm pretty crazy :D i'm pretty original and fun i think!i love doing spontaneous things like standing in line at 5 in the morning for jonas brothers tickets and being the only one there!ummm i can be a bit of a drama queen, but i'm a theatre major so what do you expect really??? i'm one of those people who goes around singing disney songs and other broadway stuff..jonas brothers naturally!!!i love to dance around movie theatres because its quite an exciting thing to do and why wouldn't you??lol its soo much fun!!oh and did i mention that i love to laugh?!because i definatly do!also i always try to do the right thing, hurting people tears me up inside!

Chapter Two: Nick's POV

For the past six months, I hardly got enough sleep. Everytime I closed my eyes an image of this girl's face would always appear. It would show her waiting in the rain for something. Or maybe someone. Was I getting paranoid? I walked tiredly downstairs and fell into a kitchen chair. "Nick?" my mom asked. "You okay hon? Have you been getting enough sleep?". I had my eyes half open. Dark rings were under my eyes. "No.." I replied. "Whenever I do, I always have this dream about a girl.." I explained. "She's always waiting in the ran for something.. I always think it's me she's waiting for" I finished. "She looks so familiar.. but I can't.. I don't remember". Joe looked at Kevin.

"Nick.." he began. "That girl you were dreaming of.. her name is Kayla-Rae Hoffmans" he explained. I blinked at him. Joe punched him in the shoulder playfully. "Shh! He doesnt need to know!" he said. I looked at him. "I don't need to know about what? Tell me!". Joe bit his bottom lip. "It's nothing. Nevermind" he said quickly. I was getting fustrated. "Who's Kayla? Tell me!". Kevin sighed. "There's no point on hiding the truth any longer" he replied. "Nick" he began taking out his wallet. He showed me a picture of him and a dark brunette haired girl. "This is Kayla" he explained. "Six months ago, on a dark rainy night, her father broke you two apart. He told you to never touch his daughter again or he'll call the cops". My eyes widened.

"Mom thought it would be best if we moved to L.A" he added. "W-Was I inlove with Kayla?" I asked. He nodded. "You two were really close. You two were going out for two months then". I shook my head. "Impossible.. I.. I already have a girlfriend.. I don't even remember dating a Kayla" I said. Joe sighed. "Figures. It was six months ago"
