“Mom,you called us down,what’s up?” A 15 year old Allie asked while walking down the stairs.
“Yeah mom,it sounded urgent” Her 18 year old sister Jessa added.
Sitting down,their mother and father looked at both of them and said,”We’re going on a Safari trip in Africa for 2 months…” The girls motioned them to continue. “And we asked one of your aunts if you can move in with them for the whole two months” Their mother,Selena,continued.
“Them?” Jessa asked,confused.
“Yes,your aunt Denise has 4 boys and no girls. Don’t you remember them?” Their father,Jason,asked. They shook their head no. “Oh yeah that’s right,we moved here before the 3 youngest ones were born! You didn’t even see Denise and Kevin.”
After a few moments of silence,their mother spoke up.”Pack your bags,we’ll fly over to Wyckoff,New Jersey tomorrow to meet them” The girls groaned,and followed their mother’s orders.
The next day, the girls got into the plane and flew off to New Jersey. Jessa fell asleep,while Allie thought about their new home. Well at least her home for two whole months. “What if mom and dad never come back to get us? What if a lion attacks them?” These scary questions ran through her head the whole time. Taking out her blue iPod,she decided to let everything go by listening to “Shake it – Metro Station”. She sighed as the flight attendant told her to buckle her seat belt because they were going to land.
When they got off the plane,the girls said their goodbyes to their parents. “I feel so alone” Jessa told. “Same here sis,same here” Allie replied as a car pulled over close to them. A lady with curly hair stepped out of the car with her son behing her. “Hello,you two must be Allie and Jessa. I’m Denise,and this is my oldest son Kevin Jr.!” She smiled and shook their hands. “Hello Mrs. Jonas and Kevin! We’re so happy to be here!” Allie smiled back. By the look on their faces,the girls knew they were good people. Kevin helped them put their bags in the car. When everything was in its place,they drove off to the Jonas’s home.
“Boys come down and meet the girls!” Mrs. Jonas yelled when they arrived. Allie & Jessa could hear footsteps coming from the stairs,they turned around,and faced 2 handsome looking boys and one cute boy. “Hello pretty ladies! I’m Joe!” He flirted,while winking at Jessa. “I’m Nick” The curly headed boy said shyly. “And I’m…Frankie!!!!” The youngest one yelled,which caused them to laugh.
“Mr. Jonas is in New York for a meeting,he won’t be here till tomorrow.” Mrs. Jonas told the girls before showing them their room. It was a nice,sky blue room with two separate beds,and a wooden desk that had maps,pictures,and information about Wyckoff. “Aw this is so nice!” Jessa exclaimed,while throwing her bag onto her bed. “Thank you Mrs. Jonas!”
“You’re welcome dear! If you two need anything,the boys and I will be right downstairs!” Mrs. Jonas said and walked out of their room.
“Okay boys,I know Allie and Jessa are very pretty girls,but...there will be no funny business what so ever!” Denise warned her sons. “Understood mom” They said in unison. “Good,now let’s set the table. Dinner is almost ready.”
