As Joe and Nick Jonas watched as Brandi walked out of her house, which was next door to their house. Brandi was the type of girl who didn’t care what others thought about her, she hardly paid attention to anyone outside her inner circle. She was super smart and loved a challenge. Joe thought she was beautiful. With her straight, shoulder-length brown hair and hazel eyes, she was. So she was sunburned slightly on her nose from the senior trip yesterday, who cares?
“Hey Joe!” she called, waving as I caught up to her as Nick turned towards the ninth and tenth grade building as we headed towards the eleventh and twelfth grade building. She tried waving to one of her old friends, who was one of the popular girls, but she didn’t wave back. Joe thought for a moment. Who would do that? Brandi was a great person.

Joe walked up the courtyard, looking for Brandi. While his eyes saw all the girls wearing pink, he spotted Brandi over by the wall, wearing dark jeans and a Powerpuff Girl T shirt trying to promote going green, she sat on the ground chewing on her nails as she did homework.
“BERANDIIIIIII!” Joe yelled, crouching down beside her. Brandi has a confused look on her face as she yelled, “JOOOOOOOOOOSEPHHHHHHHHHHHHH?” Joe laughed. A few girls past us and snickered at Brandi, walking away whispering and laughing. Joe glared. Someday, they’ll see how beautiful she really is.

Joe stood in the middle of a huge crowd of students that were making fun of Brandi as they crowded around her. “Everyone sees her, but nobody knows her. She screams into her pillow for a better tomorrow. She hates, but she fakes it. Watch out for the girl. One day she may change the world. Maybe she’ll be in a movie, or maybe a song. But you better pay attention before she’s gone.” Brandi smiled at Joe as he stood up for her.
