Chapter 5: Time For Me to Fly!!
After we finished our coffee, we saw the police investigating Mom's SUV. "Oh crap!" I nearly screamed, looking out the wall window. "What Sarah?" Kevin asked. "Police are here!!" I said. "It's cool, I'm sure you can ride with us!" Kevin said. We walked back to the others. "Guys time to go!" Kevin said. "Why? I was just starting to get to know Nick!" Madi said. "Well, Madi, police are here inspecting the car, so we have to leave!!" I said. "We don't have a ride anymore!" Madi exclaimed. "Yes, but Kevin said we could ride with them." I said. Madi's heart stopped beatin out of her chest, I bet.
We went to the concert place, in the JoBro tour bus!! OMNJJ!! "You two can hang out backstage until the concert starts." Kevin said. "What if police come?!" I asked. "Dude they won't, they always like to crash the party during the concert!" Joe said. I giggled.
Me and Madi waited with Crystal and Alexis, until the concert started. "So, you're Joe's girfriend?" I asked Crystal. Crystal nodded. Seh seemed nice. "And you're Nick's girlfriend." Madi assumed. The other chick with the gum nodded as she blew a bubble. Madi sighed. She was starting to like the Jonas's I could tell.
At 6:30 P.M. people started piling in and us chickies had to go sit in the bleachers. Luckily we got front row. Even though we had the best seats in the ampitheater (outdoor theater) we still stood up to possibly touch the Jonas's hands.
During When You Look Me in The Eyes, the lights turned off. "What the..." Joe said, his voice trailing off because his mic was turned off. Men in uniforms came onto the stage with flashlights. "Howdy men!" a fat police officer greeted. "Howdy." The guys on stage said. Me and Madi tried making ourselves scarce by going towards the middle to the back of the ampitheater. "What's the meaning of this officer?" Joe asked. By now everyone was talking, asking eachother who it was. "Well Joseph...wait Joseph is your name right?" the fat police officer asked. "Yeah." Joe said. "Well, Mrs. Sarah Adams of Bloomingfield, Illinois has reported that her SUV has been stolen. The last people seen in it was Madison Gregory, and Sarah Adams." The officer said. Kevin from the dark was motioning us to go to the tour bus. Though we couldn't see him, so we stayed put.
The mics were turned back on. "Hi, I am Officer Eisenhower. We are here looking for Sarah Adams and Madison Gregory." the fat officer said. I looked down. "Is Sarah Adams and Madison Gregory here?" Officer Eisenhower asked. "Time for go!" I whispered, and me and Madi left the ampitheater. The officers saw us at the theater door, and said: "Not so fast!" D@mn!" whispered. We were caught!!
