My First Guitar Lesson

Jamie started walking towards his house. She was basically hopping along, moving a mile a minute. This was like milking two goats with one bucket (I know, stupid simile, but I couldn't think of a better one). In a few moments she would be going to her love's, well, her best friend's house to learn guitar. Jamie slowed her pace and her level of happiness lowered as this thought went into her head. She sighed as she started walking slowly along, but told herself she would have fun at this lesson. She had always wanted to play guitar, anyways.
"Hey, Jamie!" he yelled happily from his front porch, standing up and waving to her. Jamie faked a smile and waved back as she started to fastwalk over.
"Hi Nick." she yelled back, and then they met at the porch. It was rather awkward, just standing there, best friend to best friend.
"Umm...come inside. You want to play some video games or something before the lesson?" Nick stuttered as he opened the door.
"Nah. I don't want to take too long." Jamie replied as she went inside, now secretly wishing she had never made plans for this.
"K." Nick said blankly, and they walked the familiar hallways to his room. Jamie had been here many times before, but that was before she had started feeling more for him than just best friends. "I guess you can use Kevin's guitar for now." Nick said as they sat down next to each other on his bed. He ran over to Kevin's room and grabbed it, and placed it on Jamie's lap in the proper position. "That's proper guitar position. Always play like that when you're sitting down." he explained to her as he grabbed his own guitar from the corner and sat next to her.
"What's happening here?" Kevin said as he walked in and leaned on the doorway.
"I'm giving Jamie a guitar lesson. I figured you wouldn't mind if she used your guitar." Nick said to him.
"I don't. I was just wondering what's happening. Good luck!" Kevin replied, and then walked back down the hallway to his room. The two could hear him explaining to Joe what was happening, and then Nick closed the door so they wouldn't be bothered anymore.
"Alright! First we're going to start out with just strumming. Here, you can use my guitar pick." Nick said after a few moments, handing Jamie his guitar pick. "You hold it like this, and strum like this." he said, guiding her fingers in the proper motion, bringing their heads quite close together in the process. Jamie blushed, and Nick stopped for a moment, just looking at her. Then he quickly sat back down and said, "Oh, um...sorry, I..." Now his face was red.
"It's alright." Jamie said, breaking the silence she had been keeping up for the past few minutes. Now she was really smiling. Now was her chance. She had to do it now. So she leaned over and kissed her best friend on the forehead. He looked up at her. And that's all they needed to know that they loved each other, and knew it. So they shared their first kiss, and the rest of the guitar lesson was filled with smiles, laughing, red faces, and just simply happiness. So when Jamie got home, all she had to say to her mother was, "That was the best guitar lesson I've ever had!"
"But that's the only guitar lesson you've ever had." her mother replied, confused, as her daughter skipped down the hall with all smiles on her face.
"So?" she said happily as she skipped along to her room, ready to write about her first, and best guitar lesson.
Back at the Jonas household, it was a different story. Both Joe and Kevin were at the doorway of Nick's room. "So...what happened in here?" Kevin said slyly. Nick was sitting on his bed with a red face.
"Not much..." he said quietly.
"Oh really? Did you make sure to wear a c-" Joe started to say, but as soon as Nick knew what he was talking about, he literally bounced onto his laughing brother, tackling him to the ground.
"You guys! We're 15, stupids!" he said.
"Oh really..." Joe continued to say, as he stood up and ran to his room, followed by an angry, red-faced Nick.
Being the narrator at the end of the story, Kevin said, "Don't worry. They didn't do anything. We were listening the entire time at the door. Joe's just messing." He smiled and followed his two younger brothers down the hallway. "You guys! Don't hurt each other!" he yelled down the hallway, followed by his confused parents.
"What is happening?" they said at the same time.
