OK so i have some readers!YA!So once again thanks so much to all who auditoned.And here is chapter 2!
Chapter 2!
Well Ok.
After Joe left i went back to the counter and served the customers.Then it became slow again.And i spent the rest of my shift thinking about Joe.I didn't get why i was thinking about him though.I mean we only talked for about an hour.Why did it feel like i have known him my entire life?
after work i drove back to the lonely house.That i happened to love.I walked inside and up to my room.I wanted to see Joe again so bad.But why?I have never been just blown away by a guy but Joe wasn't just a guy he was something more.And i was just confused.
Ring.....Ring.....
I looked at my phone as Gracie flashed on the screen.
"Hey."I said
"Hey Claire you ready to go?"Gracie asked me
"Go where?"I asked
"The concert."Gracie said
I had totally spaced but Gracie and i were going to see the band Rooney tonight.
"Oj right well i need like ten minuets to get ready."I said
"Alrgiht i am willing to give you five since i am here at your house now."Gracie said
"Ok."I said
Then i hung up.I walked over to my closet and grabbed a pair of jeans and a green shirt.I got dressed and pulled my hair up.I ran downstairs and put on my flip flops.I Was ready to go.
"Hey Gracie."I said
"Lets go Claire."Gracie said
Then we walked out the door.We got into Gracie's car and took off.
We got to the concert and went to the front row.
"gracie who all is going to be here?"I asked after i notice all of the younger teenage girls who were all screaming.
"I don't know it was like something like Brothers Jones."Gracie said
"I haven't heard of that before."I said
"Me either all i know is the band is one i have never ever heard of.They are like disney channel or something."Gracie said
And it was true if it is something disney channel Gracie wouldn't have a clue who it would be.But me well i would.Then it got all dark and Rooney came out.
Gracie and i were jumping around and having so much fun.But before i knew it Rooney was done.
Then three teenage boys came out.And then he stepped up to the mic.
"Hey all you Jonas Brothers and Rooney fans!"Joe yelled into the mic
Then the arena was full of screams even Gracie was screaming but i couldn't.I was standing there with my mouth wide open starring at the guy i had had coffee with only five hours ago.He probably thought i was stalking him.
I grabbed my ticket out and looked it over i couldn't believe it how could i miss that i wondered.In big bold letters in the center of the ticket it said Jonas Brothers.
JONAS BROTHERS
How on earth did i miss that?
"Claire you ok?"Gracie asked noticing the fact that i was starring at my ticket with my mouth wide open.
"I don't know."I said
"Alright well its time to get the party all pumped up!"Joe yelled while looking at the audience.Then his eyes landed on me.I was still starring at him with my mouth wide open.
He got that beautiful smile on his face and started laughing a little.
"Well i want you all to scream if your a stalker!"Joe yelled.
I saw Nick and Kevin give Joe a confused look.Then i saw him yell something at them.
It looked like he said the girl i told you two about is here.
After Joe said that the arena was filled with nothing but screams.Joe looked over at me and this time he just starred at me while smiling.
I finally was able to smile at him.Then the concert began.
After the concert Gracie and i left because i had the morning shift at Starbucks.
I went home and took a shower then climbed into bed.I woke in the morning and got ready.
I got to work a little late but thank goodness my manager Kati was there to open up.
"Oh thank god Claire your here."Kati said
"Umm....Ya."I said as i looked around the totally empty place why was she happy about that?
"The phone will not stop ringing for you its this guy he calls like every five minuets.His name is Joe or something like that."Kati said
And the sure enough the phone started ringing.I walked over to it.
"Hello?"I asked
"Is this Claire?"They asked
"Yes."I replied.
"Finally i get a hold of you i think your manager was going to un hook the phone because of me.Oh its Joe by the way."Joe said
"Hey and ya i think she was going to let's just say she was a little more then happy when i showed up."I said
"Ya she said you had the morning shift but were running a little late.Its your job aren't you supposed to be on time?"Joe asked
"Its ok she wouldn't fire me."I said
"And how do you know this?"
"Because i have been working here for three years Kati is practically family.I used to stay with her family when my mom and dad were out of town."
"Oh i see.Your parents out of town a lot?"
"Let's just make it easier.They are home two days a year Christmas and my birthday.I got to pick two holidays i wanted them home for.But i like spending the other holidays on my own.Its nice."
"So you sound like you like your life."
"Yes its.......Perfect."I said
"well don't you think there is one thing missing?"Joe asked
"No."I said
"Oh well i better go but call me later i gave my number to your manager.Bye."Joe said
"Bye."I replied.
