Chappy 2
Umm guys. When is the race? I asked, drying the tears that had just began to slow.
It is this weekend. Today is Wednesday, so you will have to leave tomorrow. My mother instructed.
Why do I have to leave so early? I’m not camping out am i? I pondered.
That is the other part of your birthday present. And you are going to be able to bring along 3 friends. So choose wisely, you will have to be cramped up with them for a while. My mom advised, with a smile beaming across her face.
Thanks again! Well I must go call peeps to see who will be able to come on such short notice! Thanks! I yelled, racing out of the house and into my secret place.
It was an old barn that was outside of my house. It had been there for as long as I could remember. My father even tried to make it usable once, but admitting defeat quickly. So I decided to just make it my own. I had put all of m favorite things in there. It included my guitar, my notebook, and especially a tape recorder. What I always wanted to be was an attorney, but I was told too many times that I dream too big. So I always stuck with my music.
I crawled in one of the chairs and began to dial my cell for one of my friends.
Hey Babe, what’s up? my bestie answered, her name is Meg FYI.
just got the most amazing news ever! I teased her, she was so gullible too.
what what?? You better tell me or I might have to come through the phone after you. And don’t think I wont. She threatened.
Well its just that I got tickets to the NASCAR race this Sunday!!! I practically yelled through the phone.
No way!! You are so lucky! When are you leaving? She asked, sounding a tad disappointed.
Well, we are leaving tomorrow. So go and pack your stuff chick. I will talk to you later. I surprised her.
Thanks so much! I love you tons! Talk to you later! She sadi, and hung up.
I began to rack my brain of who else I wanted to invite. I finally decided on my two other close friends; Katie and Becky.
I was about to dial Katie’s digits when I was called in for dinner.
I’ll just call them later. I muttered, walking out of my hideout.
do yall like it?? sawwy if there is no sense in it. but it is going to get better. ily!
