Alright here’s more!
Chapter 2
Joe’s POV
Finally, we reached New Jersey. Frankie and I were the first ones out of the tour bus.
I breathed in the fresh air of my hometown. I couldn’t believe it. We were finally there!
“Guys! Come on!” I hollered at everyone.
“Dude, can you believe it?” Nick said as he stepped out of the bus. “We’re back in Jersey!”
“I know, seriously! Where’s Kev?”
“Don’t know.”
Suddenly, we heard Kevin shouting, “You guys! A little help here!!!”
Nick and I turned around to see Kevin struggling to hold all our bags. We rushed towards him, getting our bags.
“Thanks for getting your bags before stepping out the bus,” said Kevin in a sarcastic tone.
“Your welcome,” I replied, which made Nick laugh.
When Mom and Dad got out of the tour bus, we started walking towards our house. It still looked the same as it had four years ago.
I entered the house before everyone else. A huge grin spread across my face as I looked around. Everything looked exactly the same as when we left it.
We started going up to our old bedrooms and placing all our clothes in the closets. When I finished, I went downstairs to find my mom cooking some dinner.
“Wow, Mom, that smells amazing!” I complimented as I walked towards the stove where she stood. “What are you cooking?”
“Spaghetti and meatballs,” she answered.
“Awesome..! Hey, Mommy, I’m going to go out for a walk, is that fine?”
“Yes, just be back before 6:30,” she told me.
I looked over to the clock. It was 6:00. I had time. “Okay.” I put on my shoes and walked out the door.
Outside, it was beginning to get dark. I considered going back to the house, but thought that it wasn’t so dark that I couldn’t take a ten-minute walk. I shrugged and walked on.
I stopped at a playground I remembered I used to play a lot at. I walked over to the swings, and sat down on one. I noticed a girl sitting on a swing right next to the one I sat on. Usually, I wouldn’t care about who was next to me. But this girl made me stop and stare.
She was gorgeous. Her hair was darkish brown, long and kind of like Ashley Tisdale’s hairstyle. She wore a navy blue sweatshirt, and old blue jeans. But what really captured my sight were her pitch black eyes. There seemed to be no life in them. But still, her eyes were the most beautiful part of her.
I stared and stared. I couldn’t keep my eyes off her. She didn’t appear to mind either. Actually, she didn’t even seem to notice I was gazing at her.
Her appearance was not the only reason I stared. She seemed…familiar. I just couldn’t remember who.
She started looking around. “Wh-who’s there?” She must’ve noticed me staring at her. But she did not look straight into my eyes one single time. Suddenly, I figured it out. This girl was blind.
But she wasn’t just some girl.
The blind girl, sitting on the swing next to me, was Stephanie.
I had lots of fun writing that! Hope u like it!
