"She's so weird." the girls behind me giggled
I had just finished asking my teacher a question about a tree and people were already talking.
"I wonder were she gets her clothes, looks like her grandmothers closet."
At first I couldnt care what people said about me but as time went by it got to my head and I couldnt stop it.
"Good question Taylor." My teacher smiled
I lowered my head and returned to look at my textbook.
Biology was entertaining to me, and everything was incredible, but everytime I got the courage to ask a question, I got shot down.
My hands got hot as I gripped my lead pencil tighter being careful not to start a riot in class.
The bell rang and I quickly got up swinging my backpack over my shoulder.
I walked to my locker swiftly clutching my stomach, looking down to the floor.
Different colors of gums were stuck to the floor, I wondered their flavors and how long they had been there.
"Watch it!." I looked up noticing I had bumbed into the head cheerleader
Melrose was her name, and everyone believed she was beyond perfect.
"Sorry..." I muttered walking away
"Nice sweater freak." she laughed high fiving her friends
I looked down again feeling a single warm tear roll down my cheek.
