So, I have no clue how long this is going to be yet, but it probably won't be a full fic. 

Part One

    The phone rang early in the morning in the Jonas household.  Joe roller out of his slumber to answer it. 
    "Hello", he asked groggily as he wiped his eyes. He glanced at the clock to find that it was only 7 a.m. 
    "Joe!  I'm glad you're awake!  Lexy had an emergency in the office today and I have to go into the studio.  The babysitter is sick and Mom and Dad are in town for the day, so do you think you can watch Madison today?", his older brother pleaded from the other end of the phone.
    "Sure, what time?", he asked again with a yawn.
    "umm . . . half an hour?"  Kevin's voice already sounded apologetic.
    "Yea.  Don't worry.  Madison, Ashleigh, and I will have fun."  Joe said as he remembered that his wife, Ashleigh, had class today.  "well, me and Madison will at least"   Kevin thanked him and got back to getting things ready.

    At 7:30 on the dot, the doorbell rang to reveal a blond, curly headed little girl in her father's arms.  She quickly jumped down and ran to the couch, clutching a DVD and baby doll in her hands.
    "Are you sure you will be ok?", Kevin asked. 
    "Of course!  How hard can it be taking care of a three year old?" Joe asked as he scoffed the subject.  Kevin laughed and shook his head, at Joe's naive ways.  Kevin headed to his car, but not with out a goodbye hug and kiss from his little girl.
  
    Madison and Joe headed back to sit on the couch.  She yawned, as did he. She was very patient and still from a little kid; even more so than Joe.
    "This is boring", Joe's voice broke the silence.  "So, what movie did you bring?"
    "Kitty!", Madison exclaimed as she showed him the case.  He laughed at the fact that it was The Lion King. 
    "You are your father's daughter", he chuckled.   He gladly put the movie in and watched it with her.  Her eyes were glued the whole time to the television, giving Joe a chance to catch up on his "beauty sleep".
   
    "Uncle Joe!  Uncle Joe!", she yelled as she shook him, waking him from his nap.   He hadn't realized, but he slept through the whole movie.
    "What is it?", he asked.
    "Movie's done.", she pointed to the screen which was showing the credits and tugged on his shirt.
    "Oh, alright."  He glanced at his watch again.  It was now 9:45 and the sun was rising outside.  "How 'bout some breakfast?", he asked.  Her blond curls bounced up and down as she nodded her head in agreement.  He led her out to the kitchen and poured two bowls of Cornpops.
    "Mommy doesn't let me have this cereal.", Madison said matter-of-factly.
    "She doesn't?  Why not?"
    "She said it's full of sugar and that I'll end up like you."  Joe didn't take offense to the comment.  He was rather hyper and did intake a bit too much glucose.
    "Well, today, you can have it.  Just don't tell mommy, okay?"   She nodded her head again and wasted no time before digging in to the sugary mound of yellow and white.
