All it took was a phone call from a curly brown haired's mother that got Julia Rose, a fifteen year-old girl, to meet her first boyfriend.
[[Julia's POV]]
"Mom! DO I have to go?" I complained. I was being forced to go to this party. It was more like a family renunion, even though we were no where near relation to the family. Our mom was their mom's bestfriend since they were five. "Yes" she replied running downstairs and fixing her hair. "You might like it Julia" she said. I rolled my eyes ironically. She was getting dressed up so fancy. In her long black spagettit strapped black dress. It wasn't a wedding. So why'd she have to make me wear a short dress?
The dress was up to my knees. It was red with a black bow around my waist. It was strapless and looked gorgeous. I even have the matching black thin mid length heels. My mom curled the bottom half of my long light brown hair. She also made me put on the long gold dangly earrings which I hated to wear. "Don't worry. There's going to be alot of people your age. You'll be fine" she replied. I didn't ask her. "I can't dance in heels!" I complained. She threw a pair of black flats at me. "Then when we do, change into flats" she said. "Jade! Rachel! Let's go!" she called with her loud voice. My two older sisters came rushing downstairs. Jade was twenty and she was wearing a short, light blue strapless dress. Rachel was eighteen and she was wearing a short slightly frilly at the bottom black dress. It had a bit of dark tealish blue on the sides and a bit of white near the frills.
"Where's Emma?" Jade asked. Emma was our seven year old sister. "Here I am mommy!" a small voice called as she came running downstairs. She was in a long gold thick strapped dress. She had her cute little white dress shoes on and her brown hair was tied into two cute pigtails on the sides of her head. "Alright. Let's go" she said before getting into the car.
[[at the party]]
I groaned. Two hours had passed and still nothing new happened. It was kind of a non parental supervision kind of party. With no parents whatsoever. I sat there at a table as "Low" by Flo Rida & T-Pain ended and a slow song came on. I watched as my older sister, Jade walked onto the dance floor with a tall, dark curly haired boy. He wrapped his arms around her and began to sway. Rachel probably found a guy and is making out with him right now I thought. My sister Rachel was such a flirt. To my surprise, she too was on the dance-floor with a guy. He had dark brown shaggy straight hair. He was pretty cute. This familiar song was always blasting through my speakers. "When You Look Me In The Eyes" by the Jonas Brothers.
I sighed as I took a sip from my punch. I looked around. Almost every kid here was on the dance-floor. Exept for one. I stared at him and he stared at me. He had dark chocolate brown locks and was just so adorable. He had the same look as I did. I knew he didn't want to be here just as much as I didn't. I heard giggling and looked at my sister. Emma had managed to find herself a boy and take him dancing. She didn't know much, but with three older dance-obsessed sisters, it wasn't hard to learn. He wrapped his arms around her and the two began to sway. Even she's dancing. And she's only seven! I thought. The boy looked maybe older than her by three or four days. I sighed and stared at my feet.
I saw another pair of black dress shoes stare up at me. I looked up and saw him. "Hi" he said shyly. "Would you like to dance?" he asked holding his hand out. I nodded taking his hand and getting up. He led me to the dance floor and wrapped his arms around my waist. He pulled me close to him which kind of felt wierd.. I guess. "If the heart is always searching.. can you ever find a home?" he whispered. I had my hands on his back. His voice sounded awfully familiar. Like one of the dudes that sang the song. What's his name? Oh yeah.. Nick Jonas. There you go. "What's your name?" he asked. I swallowed the lump in my throat. "J-Julia Rose. But call me Julia" I said quickly. I must've been making a fool out of myself.
"Well Julia. I'm Nick" he said. My eyes widened. But I forced myself to remain calm. I mean.. just because his name was Nick didn't mean he was the Nick Jonas right? I mean.. come to think of it, he acually did look alot like Nick Jonas.

"You may now kiss the bride" the priest said. I looked at my husband and kissed him on the lips. He then carried me in his arms and walked outside as they were throwing rice at us. So yeah. That's the end of my teen story. Where I met my first boyfriend. I'm 23 now. My name is Julia Rose Jonas. I am Nicholas Jerry Jonas' wife. The first chapter of my book has ended. Now, a new chapter has started.
