Chapter One
"Joe, where's the remote?!" Mrs. Jonas shouted from the kitchen "Your uncle will be here any minute!"
"I don't know!" Joe replied. Mr. Jonas' brother, Freddie was coming to visit. Freddie was a scientist and often conducted experiments that the boys very much enjoyed whenever he came over. Joe, his older brother Kevin, and his younger brother Nick were a boy band called the Jonas Brothers. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
"Nicholas, can you answer the door?" Mr. Jonas shouted. Nick ran to the door.
"Hey! How's my favorite nephew?" Freddie said, hugging Nick.
"What about me, Kevin, and Frankie?" Joe replied.
"You're all my favorite nephews!"
"We're your only nephews."
"Right." Mr. Jonas ran to the door.
"Freddie!" He said.
"Paul!" Freddie replied "How's my little bro?"
"Still trying to keep my rockstar sons under control."
"I have an experiment to show the boys." He walked in and set chemicals down on the coffee table. Everyone sat on the couch, anxious to see what would happen.
"Now, I'm gonna mix these two chemicals." Freddie said "If this isn't done the right way, well I'm not gonna tell you what would happen because then you'd wanna do it."
"Well--I wouldn't say--Yeah, I would." Kevin stuttered.Freddie carefully lifted one of the beakers and poured a little bit of chemical into an empty beaker, and then did the same with the other chemical. The solution turned purple and fizzed, and was also very shiny.
"OOOOH! It's shiny! And purple!" Joe said.
"Calm down, Joe." Nick replied.
