Her short brownish black hair shone in the sunlight and she smiled widely looking around the crowd. She couldn’t believe that she got all of her friends together. Most of them lived in different states, considering that they met on a fan site for their favorite band. The girls all chat happily and take pictures with one another and then she feels an arm slung over her shoulder. She turns and spots the green eyes of her best friend.
“Hey Cash Money Marni,” she grins.
“Hey Brittany. Happy birthday!”
“Thanks,” she smiles shyly and scans the girls once more.
Ashley, Ashley, Ashley, Ashlee, Ashleigh, Ashlynn, Crystal, Spencer, Katie, Katie, Kati, Kate, Lindsay, Lindsey, Sarah, Stephani, Melissa, and Malou were all her friends from her favorite fan site, Jonasbrothersfan.com. They met on the sight, became fast friends and when they were told it was her birthday they quickly figured out how to get together so that they could have a great day. Normally it would be hard to get them all together but some of the girls were on vacation, others were in college and some were just skipping school, Stephani. They knew that if they were going to get together they might as well do it big, which explained why they were on their way to crash a concert, a Jonas Brothers concert.
Though it probably didn’t count as crashing the concert if they had tickets but that was the way they saw it. 20 girls who met on a website who lived all over the world and were getting together for one reason, to see the three boys they adored with all of their hearts and enjoy their time together. Of course what Brittany didn’t know was that someone in the group had connections and told the boys that it was her birthday that day. So when they stopped in the middle of their set and Joe looked down in the second row, where they were all clustered, and called Brittany onto the stage she looked shocked at the girls.
Standing on the stage next to Joe was one of the most nerve wracking things that she had ever done. And she did it without crying a single tear, though she was shaking violently.
“So Brittany. We heard from a little birdie that it’s your seventeenth birthday today. And that deserves a little something special,” Joe grins.
“Which Birdie told you,” Brittany asks scanning her friends?
But he won’t tell her just grinning widely as a cake is wheeled out onto the stage with eighteen candles blowing in the wind on top of it. She blushes when she realized that someone photo shopped a picture of her and Joe together and had it printed on the cake. Her friends all laugh spotting it on the big screen and then Joe starts to sing his very own version of Happy Birthday.
Halfway through the song everyone else gets lost, considering that Joe changed all the words and then he is the only one still singing. And Brittany smiles, cause he is singing only to her. So when the song ends Joe insists that she blow the candles on her cake out and with a little frown she does just that. The look on her face after the candles are out is one of worry, she remembers the last time that one of the boys had a cake on the stage. It had ended up on their dads shoe on the ground and she didn’t want that to happen to her.
“Now you really aren’t thinking of leaving before getting a slice of cake are you,” Joe asks with an evil grin?
“I am. Cause I really don’t want cake filled shoes...”
Kevin blushes badly as almost everyone within the stadium laughs, including his whole family and the guys in the band. They clearly remember what happened when Kevin dropped a cake on his fathers shoes on his anniversary. She laughs along with everyone before turning and smiling over at Kevin. After a short pause Joe grabs a handful of the cake and starts to chase Brittany around with it and when he catches her, she tried to hide behind Nick but he moved at the last second, he smashes it in her face. She gasps shocked at him before making her way over to her cake and picking part of it up and chasing after him.
Soon they are having an all out cake war on the stage and some of the cake even makes its way down to the audience. By the time the cake is dispersed, everyone and everything on the stage and in the first four rows are covered and laughing, though some of the fans look rather upset. And with a little laugh Brittany made her way down from the stage and over to her friends who all hugged her.
When the concert ended the girls took more pictures, hugged one last time and said their goodbyes sad to be leaving one another after such a short time. Marni and Brittany made their way to Brittany’s house for a sleepover and as they walked to the car Marni wrapped her arm around her best friend grinning.
“So how was your birthday?”
“It was deff a day I’ll never forget.”
