Kevin’s POV
I looked out the window as the scenery rolled by. Joe and Nick were still asleep, so I climbed in the front seat with the bus driver. It was Monday morning, we had had a show the night before, then we packed up and headed off on the road again. We had been on the road for twenty days, and we still had a long time to go.
My phone buzzed, jarring me out of my thoughts. I looked at the screen; it was Joe. I rolled my eyes and open the message. Hey! Where r we? I couldn’t believe that Joe was texting me from his bed. I shook my head and replied, get out of bed and I’ll tell u!
A few seconds later, I heard rustling from the back, then a still sleepy Joe came to the front of the bus.
“Now will you tell me, Kev?”
I laughed. “Yeah! We just left Port Dover, so we still have another three or so hours of driving.”
“Ok,” he said drowsily. “I wasn’t ready to get up yet! Just FYI!”
I chuckled. “No pun intended?”
“No, now I’m going back to bed!”
“Night, Joey!” I called teasingly behind me.
I just called my mom to tell her that I miss her
I just wrote my girl

Nick’s POV
“Yeah… I miss you… ok… I love you! Bye.” I got off the phone and went to join my brothers. “Hey guys! That was Mom. She says she loves us and she hopes we play well tonight. I’ll be right back. I’m going to go drop this off in the mailbox on the corner.” I said, holding up a letter.
“Ok. Here take these,” Joe said, throwing me a hoodie and a pair of sungl*CENSORED*. “The girls are already lining up and they will attack you if they see you!”
I laughed realizing he was right. “Thanks! I’ll be right back.” I put the letter in my back pocket, carefully stuffed my hair under the hood, put the sungl*CENSORED* on, and walked outside.
I lowered my head and walked down the street to the corner mailbox. Before I dropped the letter in, I looked at the name. Shelby Brown. Shelby was my girlfriend and I missed her terribly. I can’t even remember the last time I kissed her!
I dropped the letter in , misty eyed, and started to make my way back. When I got about three-quarters of the way back up the street, I heard someone yell, “Oh my GOD! It’s NICK JONAS!” I cringed as all of the girls in the crowd screamed, then turned to look at me.
“GET HIM!” I heard someone shout. I took off running as fast as I could. I texted Joe, opn the door NOW! Right as I came flying up the steps to the door, Joe opened it and I ran through. Joe slammed the door behind me, laughing. I collapsed right there on the floor, out of breath. Joe and Kevin were laughing their heads. When I finally caught my breath, I said, “Joe, your disguise didn’t work!”
“I… can see… that! Sorry!” Joe said through a fit of laughter.
I started to actually think about what had happened and I had to laugh, too. “Yeah, it is kinda funny. Man, this life is crazy!”
Soon I'll be at home with all my friends

Joe’s POV
“Hey, Mandy… I miss you, too… Soon! We only have fifteen days left on this tour, so… yeah, I’ll tell them. Cya!” I put down my cell phone. “That was Mandy. She says ‘hi’.”
“That’s cool. Man, I miss her,” said Nick.
“Me, too. But only fifteen days left,” Kevin sighed.
“Yeah…” I thought about it a little bit. Yeah, I love this life, but I still miss my friends. I really liked life in Wyckoff, and I really like life on the road. It’s nice to have at least one tie to the old days.
Lights go down the noise has faded

Kevin’s POV
“We’re the kids, we’re the kids, we’re the kids of the futcha!” out voices rang resounded off the walls as the lights dimmed and screams filled the arena. Before I knew it, we were finishing SOS and running offstage and into the tour bus.
“I got first shower!” called Joe running into the bathroom and closing the door behind him.
“Great! Now we aren’t going to get showers tonight,” Nick said, jokingly. I groaned and plopped down on the couch as the driver pulled out onto the highway.
All is lost, but not forgotten

Nick’s POV
“Oh, I remember that! That was hilarious!” We erupted into laughter.
“Oh, and remember that one girl who snuck onto our tour bus?” asked Kevin.
“Which one?” replied Joe, bursting into laughter again. He leaned back and I caught a glimpse of his feet.
“Joe, are you wearing my socks?” I asked getting slightly irritated.
“Oh… uh… um… yes. But I was gonna ask you, but you were… somewhere else, so…”
“How many times have I asked you to not wear my socks?!” I was getting angry now.
“Dude, I’m sorry! I’ll ask next time,” he said.
“Please do.” I calmed down and took a breath. We fought like this all the time, but it never got past a playful tackle or something like that. We just forget it and continue on with life; one tour at a time.
We turn around, face the crowd

Joe’s POV
Kevin and Nick strummed twice. “We don’t have time left to regret,” I sang in the small room of radio contest winners. We were doing a radio interview just north of the venue for that night. I love these interviews, despite the early rising needed to get there on time. And tonight we have a concert! I wouldn’t trade this life for anything!
I feel so alive, though part of me is gone
And this life I lead, is the life that I've dreamed of

Kevin’s POV
“That was s great show!” Dad congratulated us as we ran offstage after our encore. I was slightly out of breath and the adrenaline was wearing off. That is my favorite feeling!
“Hey, Mom! Guess wh-… Where’s Mom?” Nick asked looking around.
She and Frankie had to get a head start home, so they left around halfway through the show,” Dad explained.
“Oh, ok. Wait, Wyckoff or LA?”
“LA.”
“Oh, alright.” I halfway wanted Dad to say Wyckoff. I miss my friends there, and I’ve been dying to see them. My heart is torn between the two cities – LA and my band, touring, and star life, and Wyckoff and my old friends, sights and memories. But I love this life so much! It’s what I’ve dreamed of for practically my entire life. So I’ll sing and play with all of my heart until I can’t do it anymore. And the time will come when the tour will take us back to New Jersey. So I’m perfectly happy right now; with my brothers, dad, and all the screaming fans.
