So, all you writers out there, especially Alana, Ashley, Brittany, Belles, Chandler and Taylor . . . This is the official ONE SHOT CHALLENGE thread! First and foremost I want to explain the whole challenge.
Contestants: if you would like to participate in the challenge, please do not just post a story. Please contact either me(Ashleigh), Stephani, Brandi, or Marni. It just helps with confusion and organization. We have already gathered the writers for this week, but please let us know if you'd like to write in future contests.
Idea: The ideas will be simple and vague, leaving room for your creativity to run wild. There will only be one idea and that's all you have to work with. You may choose characters, POV's , and all that other stuff, just try to keep it to a one-shot length.
Deadlines: All contestants will have one week from the time the idea is posted to submit their story. And stories submitted after that time will not be eligible for voting.
Submission: DO NOT POST YOUR STORY ON THIS THREAD. To ensure that all of the stories recieve the same amount of voting time, please pm or email them to one of the "judges". We would like to post the stories all at once so no one recieves an advantage.
Voting: the "jugdes" will NOT actually be judging, we are more so organizers. The voting will be done by your peers and fellow writers. Once the stories have been submitted, there will be a one week voting window! All votes will be sent to oneshotchallenge@yahoo.com with the title of the story, the authors name and the voter's name. This is to ensure people are not voting multiple times.
Winning: It's simple! The story with the most votes win. The winners will be announced on this thread and will be given a special siggy stating that they are the week's one shot challenge winner. Here is a sample of the siggy, but note that it will specify the week that you won, your name, and the storie's title.
