Chapter One

'Beep beep beep' Crystal's alarm clock blared, waking the girl up. Though it was a Saturday, she still had to get up at 5:15 am. Crystal worked as a backstage manager at concerts that went on in the small town of Burbank, California and today the concert was at 11:30 am so she had to get there early.The girl reached her hand over to the 'off' button on her alarm clock, grabbed her blue oval glas.ses and put them on her face as she dragged her lazy body out of bed and entered the bathroom, yawning the entire way. She grimaced at her reflection and picked up a pink hairbrush and gently stroked it through her short, dark brown wavy hair. She hated her job, the only thing she liked about it was that she got paid. The concert would be at Staples Center, but that's not what got her down. The band playing was the Jonas Brothers. Crystal hated the Jonas Brothers and was totally bummed that she had to work with them for three hours. Crystal brushed her teeth and ran to her room. She quickly grabbbed her favorite red tank top, a pair of black skinny jeans, and dressed herself. Then she ran out the door and to her car.
